I remember when I was a child, a ship almost as big as the one in your last photo ran aground in the beach port that was about 17 km from where I lived. They saved what they could, but for some strange reason the shell of the ship stayed there, right next to the dock. When we went to bathe we wanted to explore, but our parents prevented us. When I was an adult, I returned to that same beach with my son, and of that old shell of the abandoned ship, there was nothing more than a distant memory.
