When I taught geography, I loved talking about these Portuguese islands. I was fascinated by explaining to my students about the volcanic characteristics of the islands, the relief with peaks over 2,000 metres above sea level, the beauty of their landscapes, the numerous stories woven around their lakes, and much more. But seeing these images and reading your post has made me even more admiring of these wonderful islands. Thank you for sharing. Have a great weekend. Cheers and best regards.

That would be an interesting topic to teach. It was a great experience visiting the islands. We learned a lot about volcanoes at the museum there. That will be a post for another day
