We went to Farm for a Picnic

Sundays are just the days when I and my wife can go anywhere together and one Sunday, we decided to go to the farm to rip the weed out of our Cassava plants.

My daughters always go with their granny to church and we did not tell them our plans;but this time, Chielly had a fever so we chose to take her with us and brought some medicines too.

We took our son because my wife insisted she should spend quality time with him and it was okay because we only have one tool to weed off and we could take turns to do it.

We chose to rest under the trees rather than in my mother-in-law's payag(farm house but not that much). This way , we don;t have to walk uphill for lunch.

This way is closest to nature too. Blue skies, fluffy clouds, and also the scorching heat is good too. Green leaves and whistling wind is my favorite and I long for them often

Along the way was my wife's cousin's corn farm and we asked for some to cook for snacks, we did not bring any food because I planned to go home early but all of a sudden, after just a few minutes of action, we all got hungry.

Sigh! we are all a slave to out own stomach.

Wife gathered the supplies from the payag, and we had our little picnic going. With the scorching heat around, laziness engolfed me we just sat idle, having great time together.

We enjoyed our corn, had fun with the kids and just being us. This is such a great way to spend with my family, and just being there.

For me, things does not have to be luxurious to enjoy and had fun, it's enjoying what you have at the moment and just being with the people you love. Nothing is ever fulfilling than what I had.
