THE OLD SCHOOL BARBER SHOP

It has been about 5 more months since didnt last trimmed my hair. Ermm, I guess it was more than 5 months, but let's keep saying it was about 5 months. LOLZ ! So, today I went to Tuaran with my wife to send some stuff to her parents who were waiting for her in town.

We went there around 8 a.m. to make sure the traffic jam was lessened. The jam usually starts around 6 a.m., and other places actually start at 5 a.m., especially at the roundabout. I have had a hell of a jamming experience where I stuck around 3 hours in the morning just to get past a half-kilometer journey, and guess where the jamming happened? Yeah, it's true that it was at the roundabout. That was a serious bad experience at that time, and of course, I still remember how it felt to be stuck on a jam like that until now.

Lucky for me, the traffic is getting less after 8 a.m. I arrived at Tuaran around 30 minutes ago, and while my wife met her mother and talked with her here, I looking the nearest barber shop.

There was an old block shop lot that became a spot for the barber shop. If I am not mistaken, there were around 3 shops around there, and 2 of them have been there since I was a kid.

The only barber shop that was available that early morning was the one located in the middle. I got my haircut there, and it cost RM 15 or $3.50 for an adult haircut. I guess it was the rate now, because everyone at the barbershop to which I went previously gave the same rate.

Even the shop lot was quite messy and looked old, but the barber has awesome skills. Here is some photo that I took while waiting for my turn , i hope you enjoy today journey.
