STREET PHOTOGRAPHY IN REGETA LEPA , SEMPORNA

Regeta lepa or lepa-lepa boat festival is a festival that everyone waited every year ,maybe not everyone but i believe everyone in SEMPORNA waiting this festival . For them , it maybe like me waiting for Christmas in December. Usually the festival will be celebrate in April but as i didnt see any date being decided for REGETA LEPA for this year in APRIL . Maybe they change the date to other month because the KAAMATAN FESTIVAL has been started in few district.

Yesterday , i have post a series of photo during the REGETA LEPA festival of a girl dancing on colourful boat or small ship during the festival CHECK THE LINK HERE . During the festival , there was food , music non-stop and people was dancing every . The sea gypsy will come to land to celebrate this festival (like the people in SEMPORNA is waiting this festival especially the sea people or sea gypsy that living on water to come and celebrate this festival near land).

I start searching to comfirm when was the festival being start in this year but didnt any clue of it yet. Maybe my friend @gideongys has information about it .

Why it was very important to know the date in advances?

1. Because SEMPORNA is about 12 hours drive and we need advances preparation to book bus or airplane during that time .
2. Hotel will absolutely full , thats why we need to book earliar .
3. Planning with other photography friend , so we can go there together this time.

I was alone when i was visiting the festival before , this time i plan to ask some friend if they want to join the festival together with me.

Here some street photography during the festival , a boy try to park his boat at the port . Their boat is beautifully decorate with colourful flag and decoration.
