How are you ? I hope you have a great day today that better than yesterday .

The first picture is my entry for Deranged Photography Contest with this week theme of Buildings hosted by @derangedvisions . I has been a while i didnt play around with camera raw by editing some minor highlight , contrast and exposure for this black and white submission for this week contest. I really have fun at this picture. :).

Phu Cam Cathedral , Hue , Vietnam

Those series of photo was taken in Hue , Vietnam . It quite unique with the front semi hemisphere architecture entrance with the rock type wall . The building was start being construct in 1898 . This European's church architecture then start being renovated and upgraded in 1963 and only finish being made recently in 2000. It's take around 37 years to finish due to political issue . Source

When i was enter at the gate , the two huge statues (2nd picture) look like the protector of this Church. The structure is a little bit has the Gothic architecture style , which is very rare to be found in ASEAN especially in Vietnam . The building was so magnificent and beautifully made. It was too bad they didnt allowed me to enter the church because they have important church meeting at the time . I only can take some picture inside from the front door. I only can walk around the building and see some beautiful statue and garden . The church is well maintain , i didnt see any rubbish around the church and the flower was trimmed well.

I wish to visit at this church again and to have opportunity to joining their prayer in future. Thanks for stop by , see you in future post.

The first image is simply stunning. Taking the image in black and white was a great idea. It enphasized the texture of the stone walls of the church, and created a gradient from black to white across the sky behind it.

Your image deserves first place for sure! Keep up the great work! 👏🏾
