CCC's Street Art Contest #266
Hello everyone,
How are you? I hope you’re having a wonderful day today—one even better than yesterday. I’ve been away from HIVE for about a month because I went back home, and unfortunately, the internet there wasn’t very good. I tried posting some updates, but it took so long just to upload what I’d written on Ecency that I eventually gave up and decided to simply enjoy a slower life with my family.
Anyway, I’m back now with a better internet connection. To be honest, it’s not easy to start writing again and regain the momentum I had for creating new stories and journals here, but I guess I have to start somewhere. So, to kick things off, I’m joining one of my favorite contests here: CCC’s Street Art Contest #266 hosted by @digi-me.
The contest is open for everyone , and you are welcome to join it . Feel free to check the contest detail in THIS LINK
CCC's Street Art Contest #266
The street art depicts a Chinese man displaying his goods and trying to sell them to a Malay man. At the same time, it seems the Malay man is also offering some of his local products to the Chinese man. I love this artwork because the unfinished cement wall beneath it adds a unique and charming element to the overall piece.
This street art reflects Melaka’s rich history. Located in Malaysia, Melaka was once one of the most important seaports in the region. Traders from all over the world would stop there, taking shelter from seasonal winds as they sailed from one country to another, hoping to sell their goods and build their fortunes. Over time, Melaka became one of the key trading hubs of the past.
That’s all for today—see you tomorrow!
Cool to see you back... I hope you enjoyed spending time with your family. It's nice to get away from the constant hustle and bustle. Beautiful work depicting the tradition of exchange in the city. Thanks for sharing this pic on The StreetArt Community.
Have a great day
