Hola queridos amigos de Hive, hoy les traigo una publicacion que me han pedido varias personas al privado preguntándome acerca de ¿ cómo pude viajar a Trinidad y Tobago y cómo fue mi estadía en ese país?, entonces ahí les va mi experiencia.

Hello dear friends of Hive, today I bring you a publication that several people have asked me privately asking me about how I was able to travel to Trinidad and Tobago and how was my stay in that country? So here goes my experience.

Primeramente decirles que para viajar e ingresar a Trinidad y Tobago se deben cumplir cuatro requisitos importantes y obligatorios:
1- poseer el pasaporte cubano con fecha de vencimiento no menor de 6 meses de vigencia
2- poseer una reserva de hotel que demuestre que tu estadía dentro del país será por la cantidad de días que aparece reflejado en el boleto aéreo
3- poseer el boleto aéreo que para la fecha ( 5/09/2019) se encontraba a un precio de 537 usd por persona por aproximadamente una semana
4- demostrar desenvolvencia económica para
que la cantidad de días que va a permanecer dentro del país sea factible para usted como turista.
Con estos requisitos los oficiales de migración, al llegar al aeropuerto no encontrarán forma alguna de devolverlos por sospecha migratoria.

First of all, tell them that in order to travel and enter Trinidad and Tobago, four important and mandatory requirements must be met:
1- Possess a Cuban passport with an expiration date of no less than 6 months
. 2- have a hotel reservation that shows that your stay within the country will be for the number of days that appears on the air ticket
3- Possess the air ticket that for the date (09/5/2019) was at a price of 537 usd per person for approximately one week
4- demonstrate economic development for that the number of days that you are going to stay within the country is feasible for you as a tourist. With these requirements, immigration officers, when they arrive at the airport, will not find any way to return them due to immigration suspicion.

Luego de haber tomado la decisión mi esposa y yo emprendimos el viaje a la ciudad de Santa Clara donde se encuentra ubicada la sede de la aerolínea Copa Airlines para hacer la compra de nuestro boleto aéreo, ahí les hago una recomendación, deben ir temprano en la mañana porque la fila es larga y las personas llegan hasta con dos días de antelación, por lo que es muy tedioso estar ahí todo un día esperando el turno que le toca a cada quien.

Ya con nuestro boleto aéreo llegó el día doloroso para todo cubano que decide viajar a otro país ya sea para buscar mejoría económica o porque simplemente decide lanzarse al mundo de la migración.

With our air ticket, the painful day has arrived for all Cubans who decide to travel to another country, either to seek economic improvement or because they simply decide to embark on the world of migration.

Hicimos un pequeño compartir de despedida, estuvimos un rato con la familia, amigos, le rezamos a nuestro Señor Jesucristo para que bendiga nuestro viaje y nos dijimos al aeropuerto internacional José Marti, en la capital habanera, la salida estaba propuesta por el famoso terminal 3 donde la espera se hizo tediosa, ya que como somos de provincia tuvimos que viajar horas antes y permanecer allí adentro hasta la salida de nuestro vuelo que sería al siguiente día en la mañana.

We had a small farewell party, we spent a while with family, friends, we prayed to our Lord Jesus Christ to bless our trip and we said to the José Martí international airport, in the capital of Havana, the exit was proposed by the famous terminal 3 where the wait became tedious, since as we are from the province we had to travel hours before and stay there until our flight departed, which would be the next day in the morning.

Al siguiente día en la mañana sería nuestro vuelo, donde dejaríamos detrás toda una vida, familias, amigos, mascotas, trabajo. Ahí comienzan una serie de emociones que son difíciles de explicar. Nuestro vuelo hacia una escala en el aeropuerto de Tocumen, Panamá, donde abordariamos otro avión hasta Trinidad y Tobago.
The next day in the morning would be our flight, where we would leave behind a whole life, families, friends, pets, work. There begins a series of emotions that are difficult to explain. Our flight to a stopover at Tocumen airport, Panama, where we would board another plane to Trinidad and Tobago.

Cruzar el cielo en un avión tan grande es una experiencia inolvidable, se puede ver el país pequeñito, se ve el mar, las nubes, las turbulencias, todo te parece magico, en ese trayecto Habana-Panamá, el vuelo duró aproximadamente 2 horas y 30 minutos, la verdad es que en ese tiempo no te das cuenta de cuán rápido se va todo y dejas detrás todo lo que probablemente no veras en años, es maravilloso, pero muy muy triste.

Crossing the sky in such a big plane is an unforgettable experience, you can see the tiny country, you can see the sea, the clouds, the turbulence, everything seems magical to you, on that Havana-Panama journey, the flight lasted approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, the truth is that in that time you don't realize how fast everything goes and you leave behind everything that you probably won't see in years, ws wonderful, but very very sad.

Dentro del aeropuerto de Panamá,dicho sea de paso un aeropuerto hermoso, grande, te sa muy poco tiempo de ver y disfrutar de todo lo que allí te encuentras, perfumerías, relojería, venta de ropa, rones, todo muy original, pero la diferencia de horario te golpea a la hora de que llegas y tienes que correr hacia la otra puerta de embarque para la salida a Trinidad, desde el aeropuerto se puede ver parte de la ciudad de Panamá, la vista de las demás aerolíneas que llegan hasta ahí, las diferentes mezclas de países que están haciendo su paso por las instalaciones, todo te parece un sueño, pero es la pura realidad.

Within the airport of Panama, by the way, a beautiful, large airport, you have very little time to see and enjoy everything that you find there, perfumeries, watches, clothing sales, rums, all very original, but the difference schedule hits you when you arrive and you have to run to the other boarding gate to leave for Trinidad, from the airport you can see part of Panama City, the view of the other airlines that arrive there, the different mixes of countries that are making their way through the facilities, it all seems like a dream to you, but it is the pure reality.

Una vez que llegamos a Piarco, el aeropuerto internacional de Trinidad y Tobago, hicimos el chequeo migratorio, donde nos pidieron la constancia de los requisitos que les expuse anteriormente, nos sellaron nuestro pasaporte, y nos dieron la bienvenida al país caribeño. Es valido especificarles que la lengua que allí se habla es el ingles, un inglés pésimo, pero es su inglés, y nada, nada de español. Al llegar al estacionamiento hay muchas ofertas de taxi, y existen unos pequeños buses que se llaman Maxis, esos son más económicos. Llegamos al hotel reservado, este se llama Magdalena Beach Hotel, ubicado en Tobago, una belleza de hotel porque está completamente rodeado por las playas, que para mí estaban super buenas.

Once we arrived at Piarco, the international airport of Trinidad and Tobago, we did the immigration check, where they asked us for proof of the requirements that I explained to them previously, they stamped our passport, and they welcomed us to the Caribbean country. It is valid to specify that the language spoken there is English, lousy English, but it is their English, and nothing, no Spanish. When you get to the parking lot there are many taxi offers, and there are some small buses called Maxis, those are cheaper. We arrived at the reserved hotel, this is called Magdalena Beach Hotel, located in Tobago, a beautiful hotel because it is completely surrounded by beaches, which for me were super good.

En el hotel tuvimos una estadía de 7 días, que eran los que habíamos pactado estar porque nuestro objetivo era conocer las propuestas del mercado para llevar mercancía para nuestro país y comercializarlos, precios muy buenos, ropas de muy buena calidad, calzados originales con precios extremadamente buenos para establecer comercios, les dejaré algunos de los mejores sitios para ir de compras:
1-Detour ( ropa y calzado)
2-Franci's Fashion ( cosmeticos y perfumerías)
3-Penny Savers supermarket ( supermercados )
4-Tiendas indias y vendedores ambulantes que tienen precios muy módicos
En el país pueden ir a pasear al Mall, Subway, Church's chicken, estos son lugares para sentarse en familia a cenar o simplemente conocer y probar la comida típica trinitaria.

We had a 7-day stay at the hotel, which were the ones we had agreed to stay because our objective was to know the market proposals to bring merchandise to our country and sell them, very good prices, very good quality clothes, original shoes with extremely good for establishing shops, I will leave you with some of the best places to go shopping:
1-Detour (clothing and footwear)
2-Franci's Fashion (cosmetics and perfumeries)
3-Penny Savers supermarket (supermarkets)
4-Indian stores and street vendors that have very reasonable prices
In the country you can go for a walk to the Mall, Subway, Church's chicken, these are places to sit down with the family for dinner or simply get to know and try typical Trinidadian food.

Siete días muy bellos, lugares hermosos, buen trato, objetivos cumplidos, y por supuesto las ganas volver a viajar a este hermoso país.
