Old Catholic Religious Mini Statue and Street Photography - #monomad challenge
Good day, everyone! This is my first #monomad challenge in this amazing black and white community. All the images that I used were captured straight out with my Realme 5 Pro. No enhancing color, just added grain and a little bit of cropping to get a good framing. Last Sunday, June 22, 2023, at 2:30 PM, I decided to capture some photographs of the street vendors and some catholic religious stuff while waiting for my friends in front of Immaculate Conception Parish in Antipolo City.
The Street Vendors
Those two balloon vendors are selling balloons with the faces of characters like Pikachu, Peppa Pig, and more.
Those two lady vendors are sitting and chatting to each other while waiting for customers to buy a bottle of water and junk food.
There were so many vendors in front of the mall outside the cathedral, and there were also some visitors who wanted to go to the mall after a mass.
The Plants
It's good to see a mall or a building use their extra space for planting a tree or a plant, no matter where it is.
The Cathedral
The Antipolo Cathedral is the most famous of all the cathedrals in the whole province of Rizal. Every day, especially on Sunday, plenty of visitors from the nearest cities and municipalities attend the mass.
The White Candle
Inside the compound of the cathedral, there was a candle station for those who wanted to light a candle while praying.
Old Small Statue Of Immaculate Conception
On the right side, outside of the candle station, I saw an old small statue of a catholic religious figurine of the Immaculate Conception. The figurine is full of dirt and has cracks on the head.
