Antipolo City Christmas Fiesta Parade 2025

Antipolo City celebrates the annual "Feast of the Immaculate Conception Festival" on the 8th of December. But one day before the festival, the street of Antipolo from Ynares Center to Sumakah Park is alive because of the parade with Marching Bands, drums and lyres from different schools, and the Float Parade. Last year, I also watched the Festival Grand Parade and watched it from the Ynares Center when the parade started. This year, I watched the Christmas Fiesta Parade with my six-year-old daughter, and we watched the parade from where the parade ended.

Highlights

The giants or "Higantes" are the first in the line with a 12-foot height made by a character like Santa or from the television and movies. Some of the kids are crying when they see the giants dancing on the street. Every year, the tradition is to parade a giant on every street that belongs to the festival. They are doing the old tradition to remind all of Antipolenyo that the fiesta is almost here.

Honestly, I don't know what exactly is called about this character. I think the character in the middle is a queen with his king and jack, like in the deck of cards. She stuck those king and jack in the metal, and she controlled it like a puppet.

Jollibee is one of the sponsors of the event, which is why you can see them in the parade every year. Since Jollibee and his friend are one of the famous mascots, they are always invited and walk in the parade.

The first marching band in the parade was noising the crowd with amazing local beat songs. This marching band is complete with a majorette, drums, trombone, euphonium, and trumpet.

These little majorette girls are performing very well at a very young age. They are spinning their batons really well. I just don't remember which character they are imitating, but it doesn't matter, they are really good.
