One Post A Day Keeps The Boredom Away?
One Post A Day
At least this has been my motton for the last few years on Hive. And amazingly I actually pretty much followed through with it. Almost everyday I managed to write a post on Hive - that actually does feel like an achievement. Generally I am blogging about Crypto TA, Photography, the #LoveTheClouds contest, games, or other stuff that I encounter in life. But in the last several days it was a bit harder to write a post. I guess the main reason for that being that I am currently quite busy and I don't always have the energy to pull together one post.
Not really sure if the title for this post is that great. But perhaps I want to say that it's an interesting challenge to have a consistent output of ideas. I have seen this for many other bloggers as well and after some time it does feel very natural. The ideas just keep coming once a regular pattern emerges. It then just depends on how much time and effort one wants to put into it. Sometimes it's a lot with research or some more deeper thoughts, and at other times it feels like a low quality post. I guess on Hive one does get rewarded for the average output of content. It can be frustrating making that one brilliant post and not get any notice (both in terms of rewards but also engagement). And then there is that rather poor post that gets a good upvote or for some reason triggers many comments. If you have been blogging for some time here, I am sure you know what I mean.
Well today was a day that I wanted to write about the Mandala exchange which is going to detach from the Binance cloud. It's a pretty interesting story which I haven't read about yet on Hive. I am pretty sure it is also going to be of interest to many here since many use it for trading Hive. From the first glance, however, it looks like not much is going to change. But I'll dive a bit deeper into it tomorrow (hopefully). The other idea was about a web3 hack&slash game. Why hasn't anybody made one yet? It seems like the most obvious project for a web3 game to me. NFT loot, fun gameplay... maybe I am missing something?
What is your approach when it comes to writing blogs or are you more of a short form content of a person? the #threads are pretty good from @leofinance; have you tried them out?
Anyway, I hope you have a good day! :)

Check out the Love The Clouds Community if you share the love for clouds!

Im looking forward to your thoughts on Mandala and if also we can still buy Hive there.
Great post friend. 👍 For my part, I'm in a routine of publishing 3-4 photo contest entries, having our weekly street art contest on Sundays, and trying to create 2 quality posts to publish a week.
yes do it 😃
Couldn't agree more when you said making a post each day feels like an achievement.
That title is eye-catching tbh....
Spot on.. it's like become too easy or random.. ideas eventually find us...well, haven't heard about mandala exchange before.. curious to know it's story.
Tho, I'm kind of both short form and long form person. Threading is like fun to interact with each other and writing is something like comfort zone at midnight mostly.
It's really amazing to see you pull that through...posting for months without skipping a day.
you are doing a fantastic job at keeping those drawings coming as well ;)
It is very good to be successful on this platform then 1,2 posts per day must be done to meet and talk to more people. Great struggle.
I marvel at how often you post. I simply cannot do it. When I make a post, any kind of post besides freewrites, it sucks up the better part of my day. Even the freewrites take at least half an hour. A freewrite here, an interesting contest there, and I am done. I do appreciate your posts though. One of these days I'll enter the clouds contest, but first I need to learn how to use a camera that can handle those shots.
I tried threads exactly once. Apparently that was on the very day that the front end wasn't working properly, and it showed up as a post on hive. Very frustrating, considering I spent a couple hours just trying to figure it out. Perhaps I'll give it a shot again.
well I do have a bit of extra time every day from not working all too much currently, so that helps. Don't worry about the camera too much if you want to participate int the ltc contest, a simple shot from a cell phone is great :)
threads is now much better and there is actually quite a bit of engagement there. If you like Twitter, it's basically the same user experience. I don't use it all too much since it just consumes a lot of time, but it's great that we have something like that on Hive. leofinance.io
It's definitely not the worst idea to put some thoughts down on paper though....
Im trying to be a consistent poster for at least this year, I want to get the yearly badge, although I wonder if threads would count on that behalf? Not sure anyways!
But glad you have you around here bud!

threads don't count towards that goal since they are simply a comment and not a post in themselves. thanks for the support :)
It looks like your comment there is supposed to be your reply to @technicalside's comment 7 days ago, not to the !LUV bot's comment. 😅
It would be a good idea for #HiveBuzz to have a separate badge for commenting at least a specific number of times per day for a week, month, or even a year. 😎
Have some !LOLZ too! 😁

In the last month I also decided to write every day. Motivating for me is @hivebuzz gamification.
Unfortunately the main hobby - cars - is not very popular on hive. But I also like art, and clouds, and some curiosities from the world so there are topics I show.
And of course... If you make something every day it also build your self-discipline ;)
