ELABORACION DE TABLILLAS ARTESANALES [Esp/Eng]

Hola!! Querida comunidad Hive Diy. Mis disculpas por no estar presente por un tiempo, por problemas salud. Pero sigo en la lucha!
En esta ocasión les mostraré nuestro trabajo familiar. "Tablillas artesanales"; para todo tipo de paredes. Estas tablillas pueden usarse para interiores o exteriores. A gusto de las personas que desean remodelar o decorar algún ambiente.
Las mismas son elaboradas con la tierra de la parcela perteneciente a los abuelos de mi esposo. Son tierras arcillosas de color naranja y también gris. Los cerros contienen arcilla naranja y cerca de los cerros está un manantial donde podemos encontrar la arcilla gris. Es de hacer notar, que este material es de fabricación artesanal y se elabora a gusto del cliente. También elaboramos tazas; platos, soperas, cafeteras, candeleros, entre otros utensilios que se requieran para uso decorativo o como utensilios del hogar. En este caso les mostraré el proceso para la fabricación de las tablillas.

Ahora podemos decorar nuestro hogar según los gustos personales, siempre teniendo en cuenta que este trabajo es de fabricación exclusiva pues es artesanal, su cocimiento se realiza en un horno a leña, también fabricado con arcilla.
Han pasado seis años desde que mi esposo y yo iniciamos este proyecto, junto a nuestra pequeña hija solo contando con los conocimientos empíricos y algunas investigaciones realizadas por nuestra cuenta, además de herramientas de fabricación manual.
A continuación los materiales necesarios para elaborar cada tablilla:

• Arcilla Roja
• Agua
• herramientas: pico, pala, carretilla y tamiz.
• Horno, leña.

Procedimiento para elaborar cada pieza:

• El material es elaborado picando el cerro y extrayendo la cantidad de arcilla necesaria.
• Luego se cierne con un en un tamiz manual, extrayendo las impurezas, como piedras, palos, y otros. La tierra se cierne hasta alcanzar la consistencia deseada.

• Al tener suficiente tierra se procede a llevar al taller para preparar la masa, solo con agua; se mezcla poco a poco, extrayendo nuevamente las impurezas para dar forma a cada pieza.
• Es de hacer notar, que algunas piezas se realizan con arcilla liquida, así que a esta se le elabora a parte agregando más agua a la mezcla y en un molde.

• Luego de elaborar cada pieza, con un molde de madera, una por una; las misma proceden a secarse naturalmente con el sol.

• Al obtener el secado necesario y la humedad deseada, se procede a cargar el horno y a encenderlo (el mismo trabaja con leña que colectamos en el mismo lugar).
  Alcanzando los 1000 grados centigrados.

• Las piezas se cuecen durante toda la noche en el horno fabricado también con arcilla y al amanecer se verifica si cada pieza tiene el vitrificado deseado. Extrayendolas una por una...y listo, se pueden usar para fines que se requieren, en ocasiones los clientes las piden para fines decorativos o para inhibir la humedad en las paredes de su hogar.

This time, I will show you our family's work. 'Handmade plaques' for all types of walls. These tiles can be used for interior or exterior walls. They are ideal for people who want to remodel or decorate a room.
They are made from the clay of the plot of land belonging to my husband's grandparents. The soil is clayey and comes in orange and grey. The hills contain orange clay and near the hills is a spring where we can find grey clay. It should be noted that this material is handmade and can be customised to the client's preferences. We also make mugs, plates, soup bowls, coffee pots, candlesticks and other decorative or household items as required. In this case, I will show you the process for making the tablets.

Now we can decorate our home according to our personal tastes, always bearing in mind that this work is exclusively handmade, as it is artisanal. Its firing is carried out in wood-fired kiln, which is also made of clay.
Six years have passed since my husband and I started this project with our young daughter, relying on our own experience and some research we had done ourselves, as well as manual manufacturing tools.
The materials needed to make each tablet are as follows:

• Red clay
• Water
  Tools: shovel, spade, wheelbarrow and sieve.
• Oven, wood.

• The material is prepared by digging into the hill and extracting the necessary amount of clay.
• Then it is sieved with a mano sieve to extract impurities such as stones, sticks, etc. The earth is sifted until it reaches the desired consistency.

Once there is enough soil, it is taken to the workshop to prepare the dough, adding only water. The dough is mixed slowly, extracting the impurities again, to give each piece its shape.
It should be noted that some pieces are made with liquid clay, so this is made separately by adding more water to the mixture and using a mould.

• After elaborating each piece, with a wooden mold, one by one, they proceed to dry naturally in the sun.

• When we obtain the necessary drying and the desired humidity, we proceed to load the oven and turn it on (it works with firewood that we collect in the same place).
  Reaching 1000 degrees centigrade.

• The pieces are fired overnight in the kiln also made with clay and at dawn it is verified if each piece has the desired glaze. Extracting them one by one...and ready, they can be used for any purpose required, sometimes customers ask for them for decorative purposes or to inhibit humidity in the walls of their home.
