πΈ Fungi Friday - Butter Mushrooms or Suillus, Our First Harvest πΏπ
This is my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw
Hello to all mushroom lovers. Recently, my husband and I went on another mushroom hunt. If we have free time, we happily go to the forest once a week to look for mushrooms. The red heads that we collected earlier either ran out or have not yet grown again. Therefore, this time our goal was to find some butter mushrooms. These are extremely tasty mushrooms that can be used either for cooking soup, or for making sauce for mashed potatoes, or pickled and preserved for the winter. All our guests and we ourselves love to open a jar of pickled butter mushrooms in the cold winter. It is delicious. When we reached the mushroom spot, we saw that there were many old and wormy mushrooms. So we went further in search of young butter mushrooms. We managed to collect a small bucket and this is quite enough for my husband and me. We donβt eat a lot, but we love to pick mushrooms.
