Magical Illumination- Exploring the enchanting land of lights
The new year is now firmly behind us, and individuals are embarking on a fresh start with their New Year's resolutions. However, I entered this new year without making any promises. Why, you might ask, should one set goals simply because another year has passed? With such thoughts swirling in my mind, I find myself growing increasingly anxious and despondent. The realization that I failed to fulfill last year's resolutions only exacerbates these feelings, providing no solace whatsoever.
It's crucial to recognize that I am the sole architect of my life, not beholden to a mere numerical change every year. Time should not serve as an impediment; rather, our dreams have the potential to materialize in any given year. The key lies in maintaining a steadfast focus on our goals without succumbing to unnecessary pressure. I believe this approach is not only simpler but also more captivating.
Regardless of our perspectives, what truly matters is our happiness. Thus, I extend my heartfelt wishes to each of you for many magical and joyful years throughout your lives.
But it is important why I used the word magical. Because I stepped on the ground of pure magic. How, you ask?
On November 18th, Lumagica, the enchanting light park situated at the Murhof Golf Club near Frohnleiten, opened its doors to a magical world. A mesmerizing world filled with luminous objects and installations awaits on an approximately 1.5 km long circular route. The path meanders through an idyllic ambiance, traversing meadows, fields, and small forests, leading past two serene lakes to a charming, enchanted chapel. Along this route, enchantment unfolds with glowing forest creatures, majestic oversized figures, and a wondrously illuminated natural backdrop.
Abstract elements and interactive light displays beckon visitors to linger and actively participate in the magical experience. Laser and video projections transport both young and old into a whimsical realm for an immersive walk, featuring over 300 dazzling light objects. The entire journey is harmoniously accompanied by a musical concept that enhances the overall enchantment of the Lumagica experience.
Since most of us worked during the holidays, our company decided to, at the very least, make an effort to show appreciation for our dedication as we spent the festive season working. To make it even more special, our company extended the offer for family members to join us, covering all the associated expenses. This gesture was particularly generous, given that it's often challenging for a family of four to afford such outings, especially when individual tickets cost around 20 euros each.
Admittedly, I hadn't perused any pictures beforehand, leaving me in a state of anticipation and excitement. Just before the entrance, small stands featuring an array of souvenirs and hot drinks were set up, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Naturally, the first order of business was indulging in mulled wine to warm our bodies, knowing we had an hour of wandering in the winter ahead of us.
As we entered and encountered the first dazzling lights, any awareness of the cold air quickly dissipated. The enchantment of the scene captivated us all.
I would really like to describe the entire journey, but I think pictures speak louder than words, so enjoy and I hope you will be as enchanted as I was.
We concluded our enchanting adventure with a shared moment over mulled wine, engaging in a conversation about the experiences and beauty we had encountered. Without a doubt, I am eager to return next year, and I sincerely hope that if you find yourself in Austria in December, you need to visit Frohnleiten and immerse yourself in the magic of this extraordinary land of lights.

Hello, I was looking at your photos and I could see that you have a problem with the camera, if it is the phone's camera, it could be the hydrogel protector that is somewhat dirty or damaged, it doesn't seem like anything serious. Maybe with a replacement or superficial cleaning it will look cool, I had that same problem a few days ago and I solved it by cleaning very well. Good day.
Hello, yes it was phone camera and my setting were on long exposure...I was freezing and my hands were trampling so I couldn't make any steady photo :)
