From tiny puppy to playful senior - my energetic companion

Recently, I found some old photos of her as a little puppy. Looking at those photos brought back so many happy memories. I even found an old video that we uploaded to YouTube. Watching her tiny, clumsy self in that video fills me with so much joy. She was adorable and full of life, just like she is now.

The memories of her as a puppy always make me smile. She was so small back then, and even now, she still acts like a playful puppy.

My husband found her in a tiny cage with other dogs. They were outside without a roof, and it was clear that the people didn’t care about them. My husband just wanted to give a dog a better life. She was the loudest one in the cage, barking and making herself heard. That’s why my husband picked her. She was the one. From that moment, our lives changed.

One of the funniest things about her is how she ignores me when I call her. Sometimes I think she’s just playing boss. She looks at me, then goes after the cat. She’s never liked the cats, always running and trying to catch them, but the cats don’t care and always win the race.

Another funny thing she does is hide her toys in the most random places. I often find her favorite ball under the couch or buried in the laundry basket. She also loves to roll around in the grass and then come inside and shake off all the dirt right in the living room.

She’s the greatest dog ever. Those cuddling moments are the best. She’s so nice with people and gets along well with other dogs. She always wants to play and make new friends.

Even as she gets older, she remains the joyful, energetic dog we’ve always loved. I’ve written about her before, but I can’t stop sharing my life with her. She’s such a special part of our family, and I love telling everyone about her. The old photos and videos remind me of how far we’ve come together and how much she’s enriched our lives.

This morning was a perfect example of her playful nature. I wanted to sleep longer today because it was raining, but no, Baou just had to wake me up. She came to my face and stuck her nose under the pillow to wake me up. She had already been outside with my husband, so I didn't know what she wanted. When she finally succeeded in waking me up and getting me out of bed, she started barking and showing me to go with her to the kitchen. Then she grabbed the ball where we put treats inside so she can roll it around and get the treats out.

Really, Baou? At 7 in the morning? I had worked all day yesterday, but no, there was no sleep for me because she wanted to play. So, because of some treats, she woke me up and after eating all the treats from the ball, then she demanded to go outside. When we got outside, she noticed it was raining. She looked at me, and then went back inside. Yes, she is a little princess, getting what she wants. So, I'm sitting in the living room now, writing because it's impossible to go back to sleep.

Baou, here is an article for you. Only for you, because you woke me up. Oh yes, she is sleeping now. Thanks, baby :)))
