Drone in the sky - flat lands, big feelings

Living in such a crazy beautiful place, where everything is flat and open, is honestly one of the things I miss the most. I’ve always loved nature...like really loved it. Forests, trees, fields… yes please! And in my favorite place, wherever you look, there are fields. I mean...HELLO!? It’s like someone painted the whole land with green magic.

Yesterday was extra special. My grandma had a birthday (woohoo, go grandma! 🎉), and we said: “Okay, let’s go visit her before she gets mad at me for never showing up.” 😂 So we all went—me, my husband, my family—everyone! We were outside, grilling, laughing, eating, and just soaking in the chill vibes.

Now, of course, I brought the drone! I always want to see this magical land from above. It’s growing season now, everything is so green it’s like the Earth is singing. My heart? FULL. My eyes? In love. My camera? Struggling to keep up! 😅

Oh! And I saw my cousin’s little baby—my tiny cutie pie! 💕 He’s already so big and—wait for it—SO QUIET. I was shocked. I kept asking him, “Hey, little guy, say something!” But nope. Not even a tiny cry. Just pure calm baby energy. He’s 8 months old, so okay, he can’t talk, but like… not even a peep? Did my cousin win the baby jackpot or what!? 😂 He’s seriously too cute. Like dangerously cute. Cuteness overload!

We didn’t stay long, because—surprise—Sunday means work day for us. But who cares? Even just a few hours with my family made me feel full. Full belly. Full heart. Full happiness! 💖

Then… DRONE TIME! 🚁 I was ready. Well, okay...my husband got it ready. He’s the tech guy, I’m the fun one. He said, “It’s ready, you can fly it now,” and I was like: “Really? REALLY?!? 😍” I flew it up and WOW. I nearly forgot to take photos because I was too busy staring at the screen and shouting to my mom, “LOOK AT THIS! This is where you LIVE! Do you even know how lucky you are!?” 😂

And now—oh yes—it’s growing season! Farmers in Prekmurje are going all in with maize, wheat, soybeans, sunflowers, tomatoes… and my favorite of all—SUNFLOWERS! 🌻🌻 They're not in full bloom yet, but I can see them starting. Soon, everything will be yellow and happy and I will cry from joy. Probably. Just warning you. 😄

I’ll post a few photos (I didn't take that many because I was too busy being amazed 😅), just so you can see how crazy-nice it is.
