The cat is caught where the rabbit is trapped

Hello friends.

There is a Burmese saying, "The cat is caught where the rabbit is trapped."
It means that a hunter has set a trap to catch a rabbit, but has caught a cat.
This is an indirect way of saying that what is intended and what is achieved are not the same.

I have had a similar experience.
Rats have been coming into my house and eating some of my belongings, so I have been trapping them. I have caught more than 10 rats in the trap.

This time, it wasn't a mouse that was caught in the trap, but a squirrel.
So I took a picture of the squirrel in the trap, and it reminded me of the saying, "The cat is caught where the rabbit is trapped."

ယုန်ထောင် ကြောင်မိ၊ ဟူသော မြန်မာဆိုစကား ရှိပါသည်။
မုဆိုးက ယုန် ကို ထောင်ချောက်ဆင်ဖမ်းရန် စီစဉ်ထားရာ၌ ကြောင်ကို ဖမ်းမိထားခြင်းကို ဆိုလိုပါသည်။
ရည်ရွယ်ရာ နှင့် ရရှိတာ မတူသည့်အကြောင်းကို သွယ်ဝိုက်ကာ ပြောဆိုသော စကားဖြစ်ပါသည်။

ယခု ထိုဆိုစကား ကဲ့သို့ အဖြစ်မျိုး ကျွန်တော် တွေ့ကြုံခဲ့ရပါသည်။
ကျွန်တော်၏ အိမ်အတွင်းသို့ ကြွက်များ ဝင်ရောက်ကာ ပစ္စည်းအချို့ကို ကိုက်ဖြတ်တတ်သောကြောင့် ကျွန်တော်သည် ထောင်ချောက် ဖြင့် ကြွက်ကို ထောင်ဖမ်းထားတတ်ပါသည်။
ထောင်ချောက် ထဲ၌ ဖမ်းမိသည့် ကြွက် ၁၀ ကောင် ကျော်ခဲ့ပါပြီ။

ယခုတစ်ကြိမ်မှာတော့ ထောင်ချောက် ထဲ၌ ကြွက် မဟုတ်ဘဲ ရှဉ့်တစ်ကောင်ကို ဖမ်းမိနေခဲ့ပါသည်။
သို့ဖြစ်၍ ကျွန်တော်လည်း ထောင်ချောက် ထဲက ရှဉ့် ကို ဓာတ်ပုံရိုက်ယူခဲ့ပြီး ယုန်ထောင် ကြောင်မိ ဟူသော ဆိုစကားကို သတိရမိခဲ့ပါသည်။
