Homade cheese spread. So delicious. Only 3 ingredients. Come check it out!π« ππ

Hey hey everyone. It's me, Tigermom from South Africa πΏπ¦. It's been a while since I last posted something. It's just been a busy time these past few months. But I'll start to share more and more now. About 2 months ago, my toddler went to school, and then my mom came from Johannesburg to visit us for 3 weeks; she went back today. But let me show you guys what I made with only 3 ingredients: cheese, milk, and margarine. Cheesespread ππ At the shop, cheese spread is so expensive. I think it's much cheaper to make homemade cheese spread; it works out cheaper and more spread and very delicious though.

The amount of cheese I used was
800 grams; that's the whole block. I used the brand BERG cheese. This cheese melts better and is very tasty. Then I added 500 grams of margarine and 400grams of milk.
To start to make the cheese spread I added the butter/margarine to a big bowl. I put the stove on number 4, and then I added the milk.

If you make the spread, make sure you do it on a low temperature; otherwise, the milk will start burning. While I was waiting for the butter to melt, I took the cheese and broke it into pieces. But next time I will grate it. It's your choice, though.

When the butter was melted and the milk was very hot, just before boiling, I added the cheese into the milk, and then the stirring started haha. Make sure you have time, and the kids are not all over, haha. π€ͺ

You will see that the cheese starts to melt and the milk will get thicker and smoother.

When the cheese has melted nicely and is very thick, it's done.
I poured the cheese spread into a glass jug and poured it into a glass bottle that can seal properly.
With the amount of cheese I made, I got out two glass bottles of spread.
You can add fine biltong powder or anything of your choice. I made the one bottle just plain. And the other one I added a teaspoon of homemade chilli sauce. π

When it's in the bottles, you can leave it aside with the lids on, let it cool down, and then put it in the fridge. It can last about 2 weeks if it's not eaten up before that time, haha. You must stir the milk all the time.
There you go. Homemade cheese spread. I hope that everyone will have a try to do this lovely recipe. Have a blessed Monday. God bless you all.

From the look of it,it will be very delicious. I will give it a try and thanks for sharing.
