Esta Iglesia queda frente a la plaza Bolívar y ésta que le muestro no es la original que hicieron en aquellos tiempos era una iglesia que a mi parecer era muy bonita más que todo sus detalles estilo antiguo y sus imágenes de los santos se veían originales y más grande y encrustado a la pared y el sitio donde iba el monaguillo a tocar la campana es totalmente diferentes ahora, ese cambio lo dió unos de los tantos gobernantes de la Ciudad que le dió por modificar la iglesia por una totalmente diferentes a la de antes de verdad no recuerdo las fechas cuando se hizo la remodelación total de esta iglesia, pero del arquitecto que hizo la maqueta es un vecino el Arq. Díaz y éste estaba recién graduado para aquella época.

Esta plaza Bolívar es bastante amplia yo cuando vivía todos los jueves presentaban lo que se llamaba Retreta hacían presentaciones de música vieja antañona y presentaban algún músico que hay de los mejores del pueblo y allí se pasaba el rato deleitandome, pero ésta plaza también la han ido remodelando pero igual es muy bonita y muy amplia, hay muchos sitios donde comprar y compartir con la familia y la plaza se presta donde tienen sitios de esparcimiento, de encuentros de novios, esposos, amigos y familia en total.

Balmore Rodríguez cerca del Stadium Simón Chavez y el Liceo Tavera Acosta del pueblo acá se presenta los militares hacer su desfile y este espacio es muy lindo construido en 1998 es nuevo para mí no lo había visto sino hace poco y es muy acogedor y sobretodo muy bien ubicado, allí pueden visitar y llevar a la familia tiene mucha seguridad, también le dicen la PLAZA DEL EJERCITO, siempre hay desfile de los soldados que están sirviendo a la patria.

Yo quedé sorprendida de como han ido modernizando este espacio dejenme contarle que por acá esta cerca mi casa materna donde nací y crecí pero luego estuve que emigrar a otro estado, que es donde me encuentro ahora Ciudad Bolívar- Venezuela, esta yo la conocí como la plazoleta del obelisco, pues la han ido arreglando para diversión y esparcimiento para niños y adultos donde uno puede sentarse con los amigos se lleva algo de bebida y comida para compartir, mientras que los niños se recrean y pasan un rato ameno.
