Da Lat through my film photos

Hello Hivers, how was your day? At the end of March, I had a trip to Da Lat alone. This is a land in the Central Highlands of Vietnam with a cool temperate climate. I took pictures of Da Lat with an Olympus Superzoom 700 BF film camera and a roll of Kodak Ultramax 400 film. Let's explore Da Lat with me through film photos

It took about 2 hours to fly from Hanoi to Da Lat. The best time to explore is from November to May every year. I came to Da Lat at the end of March when the golden sunshine spread across the city, the sky was blue and white clouds drifted. In my opinion, Da Lat is the most romantic and poetic land in Vietnam. March is also the season of purple phoenix flowers, walking along the city you will see many phoenix flowers

The famous tourist attractions in Da Lat that I passed by were Dinh 3 - where the last king of Vietnam - King Bao Dai worked and lived with his family in the early 20th century. Dinh 3 has European architecture, appearing as a luxurious villa. The architecture has many large windows overlooking the royal garden shaded by green trees.

Da Lat is famous for flowers, the flower growing land of Vietnam with flowers such as hydrangeas, roses, lilies. Just walking on the street, you can accidentally come across colorful hydrangea bushes.

Traveling alone, I walked into the deserted and sunlit alleys, I recorded the moments of children playing, or strolling around Xuan Huong Lake when the sunset fell. All created very romantic moments of Da Lat.

Da Lat people are very kind and lovely, they are gentle and hospitable. They asked me if I was sad traveling alone, and enthusiastically introduced me to delicious restaurants. I love Da Lat not only because of the beautiful scenery but also the people and food here. You will find that traveling in Vietnam is very cheap and Da Lat is one of those places.

Coffee in Da Lat is also very special, only about 25k ($1) and you have a cup of Vietnamese milk coffee in your hand with a sweet aroma and a slightly bitter taste. Try coming to Da Lat and you will definitely love the climate and everything here.

The most special thing when coming to Da Lat is that you can hunt clouds at 6am on Cau Dat tea hill, the early morning clouds will form a sea of ​​clouds, with the dawn slowly rising, round and red

If you are a film camera enthusiast like me, you will love the moment when you receive the photo file from the film lab. Taking a film photo is a moment that only happens once, so you can remember it forever without post-production or editing. The film photo will have a vintage color, can be out of focus or overexposed, but the memories that follow the photo are the most special thing when using a film camera
