Harmony in the Gobi—Capturing the Spirit of Desert Wildlife
The Gobi Desert is a place where humans and nature coexist in harmony. The sky is filled with birds, while the ground is home to creatures like the snow marten. Capturing the eagle soaring above is challenging because it moves so quickly, making it hard to photograph. I rely on a long focal length lens and a stabilizing rig to minimize camera shake, which is crucial for sharp shots. Without proper stabilization, the images would be too blurry to capture. In contrast, photographing the snow marten on the ground is much easier, as it moves at a slower pace. Both subjects, though vastly different in their movements, offer a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of life in the desert. This balance of speed and stillness makes the Gobi's wildlife photography both demanding and rewarding.
