RE: A Monkey Photo Walk in Songkhla City, Thailand for #Monomad and #Wednesdaywalk

Wow, what a lovely shot of those monkeys in action! I do like monkeys. I used to bug my mom to let me get one. When I was little, my neighbour actually had a monkey, and every time I ate a banana, it would snatch it from me! It also used to pull my hair, and I'd end up crying every time.

Somehow, that monkey was sent away. I don't know where, because it started copying its owner. One day, it climbed up to the rooftop with a pan and a sweet potato, lit a fire using some wood, and tried to cook. The house ended up catching fire! Lol,

Those photos were beautifully captured, and I really like the black and white. What a talented photographer!

😊😊

That's a crazy story about a monkey that set a house afire 😁😁

I used to bug my mom to let me get one.

I grew up hearing them and seeing them from afar - we had a research institute nearby with a large outdoor baboon colony. Some of them ran away from time to time so my dream was that one of them would visit us. But it never happened, although there were stories about such visitors in our neighborhood. So... probably, this trauma of my childhood made me go to tropical Asia... and spent many years here, lol. 😁😉

Good decision, especially if nothing is tying you down. I definitely would’ve done the same, lol. Nowadays, having nomadic skills is really valuable, you can pack up and go anywhere, anytime. Not everyone has the courage to do that. Very brave of you! 😊
