The Bureau Bonanza in Radebeul

Hey Troublemakers!

It's the last day of our 3 day "bureau bonanza" in Radebeul and it's been a good one! As per our last post, the weekend at the Gassenzauber in Meissen was quite incredible. The collaboration with Claudio Reh was something truly special and afterwords we had a handful of people come up and ask if we would be willing to do more performances like that in other cities. That would be a great concept for future summers around Europe!

After a long and grueling day playing 5 different short street sets in the blazing hot sun the following day, we hopped in the car and drove east toward Dresden where we would hunker down in Radebeul for the next days. Radebeul, only a stones throw from the center of Dresden, is the location of the main office of our collaborators Centre Films GmbH. Dating all the way back to 2016, we worked with Centre Films the first time making a documentary about "A Day in the Life of Trouble" for Ortel Mobile. We had done a commercial for the company and they wanted to have a YouTube series that followed us around for a day and talked about how we used Social Media to enhance our lives. Sure that doesn't sound very exciting, but the film team certainly was!

Over the years we've grown closer, and this year with all of the new things on the horizon, we came to them first with a handful of video ideas for our album. And naturally because of the synergy that we have together, they said emphatically "Yes we'll realize whatever you want". So here we are, Blazing hot summer days in their office studio, rehearsing for the summer shows AND laying out and planning all of the concepts for the different music videos that we will make together this year.

Last week we mentioned that there were some new partnerships and some big things in the works. This is one of them! We took a long look at ourselves in the mirror earlier this year and decided that we could produce a much higher quality music and image than we currently have. We need to be the same humble characters, but when newcomers discover our music, we want them to see images and hear sounds that we are incredibly proud of! That's all becoming a distinct reality over the next months!

We are happy with the direction we're moving. We have a greater understanding of who we want to be artistically and how we want to be viewed. There's a sense that right now all of the right people are entering our lives at the right moment, and if everything works out the way we think it could, then it could be life changing....

It's certainly a lot of work juggling all of these different responsibilities while touring so heavily this summer, but we feel that we are managing! All of this work will definitely be worth it!

Love,
