Comic expos are always so happening and a photographers delight. You have captured some amazing shots.

Thanks they sure are one of my favorite events to be at. I usually find that most people are pretty open to posing, I usually try to avoid people that looked to occupied or seem to be in a hurry so that probably helps.
yes when the subject is open to being photographed it helps and the energy and mood reflects in the photo creating memorable pics in the end.
