We packed our things at 4 AM.Groggily,we tumbled out of bed and the promise of a family beach day fueling our sleepy bodies.Our call time was 5 in the morning a necessity when you have rented a jeepney and do not want to keep the driver waiting.Our Destination was Sayaw Beach Or so we thought.

But things do not always go as planned.When we got there at Sayaw Beach Resort was full.there is no rooms available,no space.We were disappointed at that time since we travel from Naga all the way to Barili and yet they forgot to put our name on the list even we already sent a reservation to them but we were not going to let that ruin our family trip.We were in Barili, Cebu and we knew there were other beaches around the place.So out came the phones and we searched for beaches near us.Anahaw Beach Resort popped up first and we decided to give it a try.

We arrived at Anahaw around 10 in theroning.We had lost some time looking for a place at Sayaw Beach Resort but we were ready to make the most of the day.When we stepped onto the beach it looked a bit like Sayaw but smaller.It was still beautiful though.The air was fresh and also the place felt friendly.

The sand at Anahaw was a mix of soft sand and smooth with small rocks.Traveling with kids as we were often comes with its own set of concerns.But Anahaw proved to be a haven for little ones.The shallow waters near the shore made it safe for even the youngest members of our family to splash and play without worry.Our cottage,overlooking the beach, provided a perfect advantage point to keep an eye on our little adventurers.

Anahaw was not just about relaxing it also about creating memories.There was lots to do at Anahaw.The kids loved building sandcastles and watching the tiny fish that swam near the shore.Maybe the mangrove trees helped bring the fish there.

For the adults,there was beach volleyball a friendly competition that brought out our playful sides.And for those seeking a glimpse into the underwater world bringing snorkeling tools is a must.The vibrant marine life is a kaleidoscope of colors was a sight to behold.

Sometimes the best thing to do is just relax.Just We lay on the beach, read books and watched the waves roll in.But the best part of the day was the sunset.Every evening the sky turned into a painting. Orange,pink,purple and red colors mixed together.It was the perfect way to cap off a day in paradise, a reminder of the simple beauty that surrounds us.

Anahaw Beach Resort offered a different kinds of accommodations to suit every traveler.From cozy cottages,perfect for couples or solo adventurers provided a private sanctuary by the sea.

Family rooms,spacious and comfortable as they catered to larger groups and ensuring that everyone had their own space to unwind.Basic amenities including air-conditioning and ensured a comfortable stay. And for the budget-friendlr traveler tables and chairs were readily available and allowing for a picnic style experience.

But what truly set Anahaw apart was the warmth and hospitality of the staff.Their genuine smiles and willingness to help made us feel like part of the family.The delicious food and cooked with love and bursting with local flavors are satisfied our hungry bellies.that made our stay at Anahaw so memorable.

It was not just a beach resort it also an experience.A chance to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life and reconnect with nature with ourselves and with our loved ones.It was a reminder that sometimes the best adventures are the ones that happen when plans change.

As the jeepney pulled away from Anahaw and the setting sun casting long shadows across the beach but we could not help but smile.Our failed trip to Sayaw Beach had led us to this hidden paradise a place where we created memories that would last a lifetime.Anahaw taught us that sometimesnthe detours in life lead to the most beautiful destinations.
