🥶 Old Man Winter is Calling.. Winds are Whipping, Trees are Falling 🌬️🌳
The wind started kicking up this morning (around 2am) and by 4:30 it had taken down one of Trees out back.
I was appreciating the contrast of silence in my house and the roaring wind outside while I was tidying up when I heard the snap. There wasn't a thundering crash so I kind of figured it was just a good size limb or a tree landed on another tree.
That's exactly what happened. The tree was rotted at the base and being weak it didn't take much for the wind to take it out.
Later in the morning I went out there to have a look around and take a few pictures. I didn't stay long or go to far as it was still wicked windy.
Mooooooving forward 🙃 I'm pretty sure I still have some paint in the basement but I'll have to take a look around. If so I'm going to get the painting done tonight in one of the two rooms I mentioned yesterday ✅
Right now though I'm waiting to pull dinner outta the oven 👀 After I eat I'm going to soak in a hot epsom salt bath and let the shower massage my head, shoulders and back until the hot water runs out 🚿 Then I'm going to bed for a couple hours 😴 so I can rest up for an overnight of painting, lectures and the like 👍
It feels good to be alive and thriving 💃
