My Wednesday Walk on August 20, 2025

Happy Wednesday Walk fellow Wednesday Walkers!

A post published on the #wednesdaywalk community run by @tattoodjay

As soon as I noticed the flowers of this tree, I couldn’t help taking a shot of them.

They look so strange and different from other tree flowers.

I had a hard time finding how the tree is actually called.

Its official name is also difficult to say.

It’s called: Koelreuteria paniculata.

Because this is difficult to say and remember, there are other names of it, such as goldenrain tree, pride of India, and China tree.

On the other hand, I think that more people are familiar with this kind of tree.

It’s a cypress.

I believe it’s one of the plants that can adapt well to many different climates and weather conditions, which is a reason for its longevity.

It’s one of my favorite trees, and I particularly like its smell.

Finally, an image that you can usually see in an urban setting.

It’s one of the so-called prohibitory traffic signs; it’s the no-entry sign.

There are people who wouldn’t even think of disobeying a such a sign.

There are others, however, who may regularly ignore it.
