There are cotton clouds in the sky.

I think they have a hidden charm.
They never fail to impress me.
There are also cotton plants, their scientific name being Gossypium, according to Wikipedia.

It is this time of the year that cotton harvesting takes place.

Decades ago, they used to harvest it by hand.
People worked as cotton pickers to make a living.
A good picker should be able to pick between 60 and 100 kilos per day.

Nowadays, big machinery like huge cotton harvesters are used for that purpose.
