Monomad Challenge: Paris in the Rainy Season, Part 2
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge contest, entitled Paris in the Rainy Season, Part 2, hosted and curated by @monochromes. Here is Part 1 if you want to take a look at my previous post on this topic.
This second installment focuses not only on cityscapes, but also on a few indoor photos I took. Again, I assert that Paris is best captured in black and white and during miserable weather--but that's just my opinion.
My capture of my beautiful better half, in the (also) stunning Palais Garnier, the most famous opera house on planet earth!
A late-night street scene in the 5th Arrondissement. The searchlight atop the Eiffel Tower is visible on the distance.
The famous interior clock at the D'orsay.
Galeries Lafayette. Yes, this is how the incomparable French do a shopping mall. It is a masterpiece.
The Eiffel Tower, as seen from the 7th Arrondissement.
A beautiful beaux-arts structure outside the Luxembourg Garden.
A tribute on the Left Bank to a life nobly lost during the Liberation of Paris. History is everywhere.
The Young Garcon, at the top of the Arc de Triomphe.
Thank you for viewing!
A stroll on the Right Bank.
