It was one of those rainy days in the hills..light drizzle turning into a shower, and then back to a gentle mist again. The streets were shining, wet and reflective like a giant mirror under the open sky.

पहाड़ों पर बारिश के दिनों में से एक था... हल्की बूंदाबांदी जो फुहारों में बदल गई और फिर हल्की धुंध में बदल गई। सड़कें खुले आसमान के नीचे किसी विशाल दर्पण की तरह चमक रही थीं, गीली और प्रतिबिंबित थीं।

I was able to capture this beautiful moment with soap bubbles floating in the air, dancing against the dramatic sky. The clouds seemed restless, shifting and heavy after the rain. People were out walking, chatting, buying snacks and softies and icecream..even though it wasn't ice cream weather. But that’s the charm of our small town.. the rain doesn’t stop the usual buzz..Everyone was doing their thing.

मैं इस खूबसूरत पल को हवा में तैरते, नाटकीय आकाश पर नाचते साबुन के बुलबुलों के साथ कैद कर पाया। बारिश के बाद बादल बेचैन, हिलते-डुलते और भारी लग रहे थे। लोग बाहर टहल रहे थे, बातें कर रहे थे, स्नैक्स, सॉफ्टीज़ और आइसक्रीम खरीद रहे थे... हालाँकि आइसक्रीम का मौसम नहीं था। लेकिन यही तो हमारे छोटे से शहर की खूबसूरती है... बारिश भी हमेशा की तरह चहल-पहल को रोक नहीं पाती... हर कोई अपना काम कर रहा था।

Tourists truly enjoy this kind of weather. In this photo, you can see a couple with their kids..one in a raincoat and the other in a pram.. enjoying the lovely atmosphere.

पर्यटकों को इस तरह के मौसम का सचमुच आनंद आता है। इस तस्वीर में आप एक जोड़े को अपने बच्चों के साथ देख सकते हैं... एक रेनकोट में और दूसरा गाड़ी में... इस खूबसूरत माहौल का आनंद ले रहे हैं।

People were walking by, some hurrying, others just strolling. The wet surface was sparkleing faintly.

लोग वहाँ से गुज़र रहे थे, कुछ जल्दी में, कुछ बस टहल रहे थे। गीली सतह हल्की-हल्की चमक रही थी।

A group of girls stood in front of me, all huddled under a single umbrella, trying to stay dry beneath a large tree. They were laughing, chatting, and clearly enjoying the moment. It was such a wholesome sight.

मेरे सामने लड़कियों का एक समूह खड़ा था, सभी एक ही छतरी के नीचे दुबकी हुई, एक बड़े पेड़ के नीचे नमी से बचने की कोशिश कर रही थीं। वे हँस रही थीं, बातें कर रही थीं, और ज़ाहिर है उस पल का आनंद ले रही थीं। यह एक बहुत ही मनमोहक दृश्य था।

This was a utility vehicle belonging to the municipal corporation, parked under the tree with water droplets scattered across its surface.

यह नगर निगम का एक उपयोगिता वाहन था, जो पेड़ के नीचे खड़ा था और उसकी सतह पर पानी की बूंदें बिखरी हुई थीं।

At last comes the a close-up of a statue of a police officer. His name stands out clearly on his chest, and the leaves above him frame his face like a crown. He looks proud, like a silent guardian standing beneath the trees. His statue was shining in the rain.

आखिर में एक पुलिस अधिकारी की मूर्ति का क्लोज़-अप आता है। उसकी छाती पर उसका नाम साफ़ दिखाई देता है, और उसके ऊपर लगे पत्ते उसके चेहरे को मुकुट की तरह घेरे हुए हैं। वह गर्व से भरा हुआ लग रहा है, मानो पेड़ों के नीचे कोई खामोश रक्षक खड़ा हो। उसकी मूर्ति बारिश में चमक रही थी।
