Lazy afternoons, soft sunlight, and sleepy little souls ☀️🐾 #monomad

समुदाय के प्यारे सदस्यों को नमस्कार। मुझे आशा है कि आप सभी अच्छे होंगे और अपने प्रियजनों के साथ गुणवत्तापूर्ण समय का आनंद ले रहे है।

It was one of those slow, drowsy afternoons where everything seems to move at its own unhurried pace. The kind of afternoon that almost invites you to pause, sit back, and simply exist in the warmth of the sun. The cats clearly understood this better than anyone. They had completely surrendered to the mood of the day, sprawled out comfortably, doing absolutely nothing and doing it perfectly.

यह उन धीमी, उनींदी दोपहरों में से एक थी, जब सब कुछ अपनी ही रफ्तार से चलता हुआ महसूस होता है। ऐसी दोपहर जो आपको रुकने, आराम से बैठने और बस धूप की गर्माहट में खो जाने का मन कराए। बिल्लियों को यह बात सबसे अच्छी तरह समझ आती है। वे पूरी तरह इस माहौल में डूबी हुई थीं, आराम से फैली हुई, कुछ भी नहीं कर रही थीं और उसी में पूरी तरह परफेक्ट लग रही थीं।

Earlier they were sitting towards the railing in a shaded place and were half asleep.Among them, one cat ended up creating the most unexpected moment. Right in the middle of a yawn, it opened its mouth so wide that all its tiny teeth were clearly visible. But instead of looking sleepy, the expression came out looking almost comical.😂😂

पहले वे रेलिंग के पास छाया में बैठी हुई थीं और आधी नींद में थीं। उनमें से एक बिल्ली ने सबसे अनोखा पल बना दिया। ठीक जम्हाई लेते हुए उसने अपना मुँह इतना खोल दिया कि उसके छोटे-छोटे सारे दाँत साफ दिखाई दे रहे थे। लेकिन वह नींदी दिखने के बजाय काफी मज़ेदार लग रही थी, जैसे किसी बात पर हँस रही हो।😂😂

Then there was Michelle, the new mother, who brought a completely different kind of presence to the scene. It’s actually a little funny how I never ended up naming the other cat, but I did name her Michelle. Maybe it’s because she had been around even earlier, and in some way, already felt familiar. While the other cat seemed lost in his lazy rhythm, she carried a surprisingly serious expression.

फिर थी मिशेल, नई माँ, जिसने इस पूरे दृश्य में एक अलग ही एहसास जोड़ दिया। यह भी थोड़ा मज़ेदार है कि मैंने दूसरी बिल्ली का नाम कभी नहीं रखा, लेकिन इसका नाम मिशेल रख दिया। शायद इसलिए क्योंकि वह पहले से ही यहाँ थी और किसी तरह जानी-पहचानी सी लगती थी। जहाँ दूसरी बिल्ली अपनी आलसी लय में खोई हुई थी, वहीं मिशेल के चेहरे पर एक अलग ही गंभीरता थी।

Earlier, she too had been sitting in the shade, quietly observing. After a while, though, she shifted her place, moving out into the bright sunlight and settling on a mat placed just before the stool. The sunlight fell softly on her, highlighting her small features.

पहले वह भी छाया में बैठकर चुपचाप सब देख रही थी। लेकिन कुछ देर बाद उसने अपनी जगह बदली और तेज धूप में आकर एक स्टूल के सामने बिछी चटाई पर बैठ गई। धूप उसके ऊपर हल्के से पड़ रही थी, जिससे उसके छोटे-छोटे चेहरे के नैन-नक्श और भी उभरकर आ रहे थे।

It was simply a lazy, sunlit afternoon, seen through the lives of these cats, each carrying their own mood, their own rhythm, and their own quiet presence.
