Visiting Two Big Farms: The Parola and Pergola Farm Valley

Once again it was my great day to travel and visit Pergola Farm here in Manticao, misamis Oriental. Its been many months since I did not visit this place again. Yesterday, I decided to went back and visit the Farm owned by a Chinese businessman and aside of that, some parts of the place were continously urbanized and developed into a subdivided areas. From the Main road in Zone 12 Barangay Poblacion, it needs to walk a few kilometers away but it is very worth it because of the beautiful and relaxing views I passes by during my travel. This farm is located at Zone 17, Barangay Poblacion Manticao particularly near at Sitio Santa Cruz. This place is a kind of valley because it is surrounded with big mountains and Hills.

This is the only access road heading to the farm. Bikers and motorcycle riders likes to do riding adventure here. This road also heading going to the Main road at zone 12, it is compost with rocky and peebles. This road is not yet concreted and it will ba having an adventourous walking here everytime when there is a mud. Each side of this road trail contains tall trees, wild plants and big chunks of stones falled down from the top of the Mountain many years has past. Bamboo trees and cliff are also near at this road that is why it is very cool and relaxing to do walking activities here.

This road leads to the river. There Are lots of tourists went here and picnics and camping trips are perfect here at the place. Different kinds of vehicles like trucks, private cars, motorcycles and bicycles can also pass by here. Same as the road at Pergola farm, it is not yet concreted and compost with peebles and rocks. Last week, this place was also an excavation areas were lots of big dump trucks hauled tons of stones and sands for construction projects. That is why they developed this simple road going to the river.

This small road trail is headed to the private neighboring farm, and it takes a few minutes before reaching the place. Only motorcycles and bicycles can pass or access by here and it will be very adventorous to all riders because the road is very slippery. Each side of this road trail are private farm owned by some people. If we passes by here, we can avoid intense heat because of lots of tall madre de cacao trees grows.

This wide and spacious farm is owned by a chinese businessman. Approximately it covers 13 hectares of land and most valuable agricultural plants can be seen and fpund here are coconuts and bananas. It is found at the middle of the valley sorrounded by big mountains and also near at the river. The border of the farm is installed with sharp bobwires and small road so the vehicles can accessible in here. Farm animals like Goats and Cows are also found in here in fact almost 30 Cows and 20 goats raised here inside of the farm.

If we talked about big and old trees, there are also few old trees grows here and one of it is this very old balete tree grows at the top of the cliff. It lives hundred years old and one of the ancient trees can be found here. Because of that, different wild animals like birds and snakes lives in here and it produces big vines. Below of this very big old tree is the rocky road of Zone 17 and everytime when we went here, we felt very relaxing and cool because of the shady areas brought by this big tree.

On the other side of the mountain is the Parola Farm Valley, this plain and spacious place contains hundreds of coconut trees and banana plants. It is also accessible by rocky road trail and aside of that a small private resort. Visiting this two farm is very fun and enjoyable, it also very inspiring to have this kind of investment and exploring the place. Until next post, have a nice day to everyone.
