Sitio Kabulubuluhan- One Of The Adventurous Place Here In Manticao, Misamis Oriental

Greetings everyone especially all hive travelers around the World. Most of the areas here in the Municipality of Manticao are mountainous, lots of overviews and landscape to be seen. Sitio Kabulu-buluhan is far areas and it needs to do hiking for almost two hours. This place is located at the mountainous part of Manticao near Bandera point and it is surrounded with big mountains that served as a boundary line between other Barangays. Each mountains contains big hills at the top in fact there are three hills can be seen here. The place is covered with wild grass just like cogon best for farm raising animals. From Zone 23, it needs to walk a few kilometers away crossing the river and climbing big mountains before reaching this hills.

Sitio Kabulubuluhan is an old name of this place, it english term it is means of grassy places backed many years ago. Elders told that this areas was once a grassy and forestry place the time when it was not yet the great forest fire here. There only few native people lived that time here and the place where they did farming was now completely covered with tall trees and wild grass. This place is also perfect for biking and motorcycle adventure because of rocky and road trail obstacles. Aside of that, some vacant site here is also good for camping trips activities and can see great overlooking views of the entire place.

There are small numbers of coconut trees can be found here and most of it are already produced lots of coconut fruits. Due to a great wild fire happens here many years has past already resulting that some of the coconut trees are burned out and vanished. Even if that is a kind of scenarios, still the place contains its wonderful views particularly tge low lying lands. Some of the houses built are far from the place and it needs to walked a few Kilometers away and it takes few hours before reaching the neighboring Sitio. This was once an open field were lots of crops like corn and pineapples planted by native people.

Most parts of the Mountain composted with Silica rocks, one of the best materials in making Cements. Only small portion of soil can be seen here and the road trail are rocks can be seen. The soil has been vanished and washed away by floods leaving this rocks and peebles at the road trail. Bikers and riders loves to do adventure here and some of them spending time doing camping trips together with their friends or families. Even if it is a kind of mountainous areas, there are also electrical posts and cable wires installed that served and distributed electricity to the far flung areas away from Urbaned place here in Manticao. This place is also perfect farm raising animals like cows because of Grass grows here. Every summer season or Holy week, lots of tourists visited here taking photos and walked in this rocky road trails.

Those tall and big neighboring mountains is the place were Barangay Camanga and Pagawan locates. Just like here in Sitio Kabulubuluhan, it is also composted with solid silica rocks in fact the place are already in Mining operations. Lots of wild animals like birds living here and aside of that, snakes and other dangerous animals also hid in here.

Most of the houses built here are made with light materials just like bamboo pieces, round lumbers and plainsheets. But the most sadly part is that, the house built here are already abandoned many years already. One of the abandoned house can be seen and found here is this one were twigs, bushes and wild plants nearly covered the entire house.

Pineapple plants can still be seen here until now owned by Native people who lived past many years. The stories are connected as I observed this place were lots of pineapple plants grows. Trees are now grows and lots of vine plants can be seen, but still the pineapple plants grows and produced lots of fruits. Until next posts, have a nice and safe travel to everyone.
