MONOMAD: "Street Black And White Photography in Barangay Biga"

Greetings everyone, today I decided to take lots of black and white photo and it was all about street photography. Some parts of the place here are very peaceful and quite because it only contains lots of trees. But the streets particularly the Main road is very noisy because of different vehicles always passing by here. This post I created today is also part of the #monomad challenge here in the community and I will bring you the uniqueness of my black and white street photography.

Most tge road side here in Barangay Biga contains lots of bobwires, indicates that this place is already owned by the landowner. Added with that the different kinds of wild plants and some insects like this butterflies.

Big trees grows on each side of the street helps the place to become cool and relaxing especially for all people driving their vehicles. Most of the trees can be found here are Molave and acacia trees some of the most popular trees here in the Province. Because of that, lots of wild life animals like birds also lived here and a cool and shady places brought by big and wide tall trees. It was already preserved many years ago to help the environment.

Some of the residents here always used this mortar and pestle for crushing sea shells and chilli peppers. This thing is made of wood and it designed very perfectly coated with varnished to make it attractive and glossy. Mortar and pestle is very popular and part of our tradition and cultures starting from our ancestors and elders who also used this thing that day. The first time I saw this thing makes me wondered how they used this, until I found out that it is used to crushed sea shells and chilli pepper for vinegar.

Because of the wide lanes of the Main road, lots of vehicles like trucks, cars and motorcycles always passing by here. They drove their vehicles very fast so they can get in their destination on time. Even if it is already midnight, still this street is crowded with lots of vehicles. All of motorcycle drivers wore helmets and this is one of the Law implememts here so they will be safe while riding their motorcycles. Each side of the street also contains lots of solar lights, it keeps the area shine specially during evening. Lots of electric post and cable wires also installed at the place and a tall billboards placed.

Street animals like dogs and cats also walking at the street and sometimes this can be dangerous to all motorcycle riders. Dogs can't avoided walking at the street because of some left-over foods by the truck drivers stopped by here just to eat their snacks and lunch.

This residents who lives near at the street keeping their best to fetched lots of clean water for their everyday living. The water distribution here is already schedule and it only takes an hour before the distribution will stop. Residents did their best by using lots of containers so they can stored lots of water. Hundreds of empty containers placed in here and wait for the turn to filled up with water. This kind of situations done everyday and it really needs to hurry because it only takes an hour. Living in this place is very fun and enjoyable because we can watched lots of vehicles and csn easily went to the market.
