Edited By: Canva Application
Having a great challenge as Gardener is one part of our life and all of us has already suffered a slight Garden problem.
For today's garden journal blog of mine is quitely sad because some of my Garden plants have already damage due to intense heat comes from the sun. Few days has past when the rain has officially ended and the heat is already exploded. Aside of my sad garden experience, I also want to share some of my plants that has been successfully and stabled growth. Also, a part of my Question and Answer challenge initiated in our Garden Community.
Intense heat gives a great impact to all plants and my vegetables also experienced and affected in the intense heat. Just like my Young malunggay plants, the young leaves is already turned into yellow color and some of it are already dried and falled to the ground. Watering it everyday must be done and that is what I also did so my Vegetables can survived the heat. I was really worried about the situation and watering it will be the only solutions to keep it survived.
Next are some of my chilli plants, somw of it are already turned brown and dried. There is no chance to survive because the stems and roots are withered. I was wondering why this plants was died even if I always watered it, I really keep searching the cause and solutions to beat this kind of problems. But I already gained lots of chilli peppers in this plant in fact I sell some of the chilli peppers at the super market. I tried to saved some of the chilli plants but it was too late and the best thing I will do is to plant the seeds I dried last day.
Despite of the problems I have in the Garden, there are some of my plants here produces few flowers. This is my Bitter gourd plants, in local term we called Ampalaya. I was happy to see that it already produced yellow flowers indicates that soon bitter gourd veggies will comes out. I never thought it will survived during rainy season because it has been flooded and good thing it does not rotten. As a few months of waiting, finally the fruit of success will near and I hope it will produce lots of it. Now, I always checked the leaves of my Ampalaya plants to see if there are any harmful insects like aphids.
My Camote leaves also produced lots of vines but some of it are turned into yellow color because of the intense heat happens here. Well, this kind of plants can survived in the heat but watering it everyday is also important. Checking the leaves of this vine plants is needed to see if there are any harmful insects like aphids living under the leaves.
My Alugbati vegetables are also grows stabled and in fact we already harvested few of the leaves of it. It is important to cut those vines so it will produce another branches and vines. As I observed it, the leafy vegetables are in stable and there are no harmful insects like aphids hiding under the leaves.
Kangkong vegetables is quite tricky to cultured. The plants must not be planted in the muddy or any flooded places, aside of that it needs to checked the leaves always and cultivate the surrounded soil near at the plant. This kind of plants must not be in the open field and most of all it needs to watered everyday. It does not produced sprouts and the only ways to produced lots of it is the stems together with the roots.
My Recycled seedling tray is also ready to plant the seeds. I also mend the net fence, it was destroyed because of the previous strong winds happened here. Getting lots of good soil is very hard here because our place is contains lots of rocks, unlike at my Husband's place. That is why I need to get lots of soil quite far from our house.
My Garden Question Of The Week Article Entry:
The Topics about the challenge is very interesting and its all about freestyles. Allow me to share my own point of views regarding of the few weekly questions.
Have You Ever Had Anything Grow Free and Wild In your Garden but still have important in Life?
Here in my Garden I only planted those valuable plants and crops. There are some wild plants grows in my Garden but only those I know and the ways of using it. Most of the wild plants grows here are herbal plants but surprisingly I also noticed that there are also few chilli plants and fruit trees grown. All of it are very important and I am very thankful that some of the wild plants grows here are contains goods use.
What About Things That Have Grown Unexpectedly, or have surprised you?
This kinds of plants makes me very surprising, I admit I planted few chilli plants but I did not expected that there are lots of chilli plants grows here, I let it lived and cultivate so it will be add to my Garden. Now, Some of the wild chilli plants already produced lots of chilli.
Ube crops also grows unexpectedly, I was very surprising when I found this long vine of ube and as for that I also let it lived and cultivated so it can produce big ube crop.
For herbal, there are also few kinds of herbal plants grows here and all of it contains medicinal benifits. It is good to have lots of plants here in the Garden and also some wild plants because It wont take hassle to plant.
Is there any plant that You own that grows freely outside of the Boundaries and you Can't do Anything about it?
Everytime when we did gardening, we really cleaned the entire surroundings. Wild grass and twigs will be removed and put in one place. Each garden boudaries and corners here, are well trimmed and my crops and vegetables only grows inside of my Garden.
