A Relaxing Views of Punta Silum- Calangahan Border Point in Misamis Oriental

Every places contains lots of boundaries and as for that, some of it built some indicators just like big concrete blocks that served as a boundary point between the two places. Here in the Province of Misamis Oriental, even if it is near at the coastal areas, there are lots of concrete blocks served as a boundary and the most interesting about it is there are few wonderful views just like landscapes, seascapes, tall trees and even long and winding road. For today's travel blog of mine, allow me to share this wonderful place located at Barangay Calangahan and Barangay Punta Silum. This big concrete block served as the boundary and it already built after Second World War.

Finding this place is quite easy because it is not really far from the Main Road. As for centuries has already past, this structure or thing remains standing here and truly it is very old one. Aside of that, there was also a flagpole put in here but it was already rusty. This place was once a soldier camping site owned by Guirilla fighters during the Second world war.

For many years has past, the once an open field or areas is now completely covered with lots of big trees, wild plants and some agricultural plants like coconut trees. Even if the place contains lots of rocks, still there are lots of trees grows and some of it are already lives almost hundred years old. This place is also a perfect camping and picnis sites because of the coolness of the place brought by shades of the big trees. Most of the trees can be seen and found here are Molave, Mahogany, Acacia and Germilina trees and some wild animals like birds. It also contains a wonderful overviews of the sea from here.

This road trail was newly excavated and it helps the residents to have a shorcut road and can avoided crowded situations. There are lots of vehicles passing by here and mostlyit came from Barangay Calangahan. This road is located near at the cliff and from here, the wonderful seascapes can also be seen. Each side of the road contains lots of grass, agricultural plants like Banana and coconuts and some wild flowers. This road are for small vehicles only like Cars, Bicycles, tricycles and motorcycles. It is very nice to pass by here because of the wonderful views of landscapes and seascapes can be seen and found.

Approximately there hundreds of coconut trees grows here but some of it are not planted and it only grows for the past many years. Even if it is near at the coastal areas and the place is compost with rocks, still it grows in fact some of the coconut trees are already produced lots of fruits. Most of it are grows on the rock cliff and it is very important and useful particularly for firewood porpuses.

This are some of the old big trees can be found here in the border point, and this trees are Balete, Molave and Talisay trees. It gives a great contributions of the place like cool and relaxing surroundings because of its shades, and wild animals will have lots of habitats or a place to live in fact there are lots of birds perching on tree branches. This old trees are well presserved many years already. It is perfect for taking a rest for a minute below of the shades.

This curve rocky road leads to the Main road of the place. This was also newly excavated and now it is very useful to all residents. Each side of this road is the rocky cliff and giant billboards and street lights.

This giant rock walls is also located at the place and some of it are already covered with big roots of the trees and vines. This is Nature made and lots of mosh also covered almost entire rocks. Visiting this place is very enjoyable and fun. We can truly relaxed ourselves by watching those wonderful views of the sea and landscapes. Until next post, have a nice and safe travel to everyone.
