RE: Day 4 and 5 of EBC

I am following your journey on a map as well as your blog! 😁 A little ways past Lobuche, the map shows a "Pyramid" of some sort, perhaps a pyramid-shaped ice formation on a glacier, or a pyramid-shaped peak. It might be something fun to look for, or ask your guide about.

You are such a strong, determined woman! I can't express how much I admire you and how proud of you I am, for your making this journey! We should have given you a HIVE flag to plant at Everest Base Camp when you arrive! πŸ˜‚

I found info about the "Pyramid" that I mentioned in the above comment! According to this blog by a guy who has hiked to the Everest Base Camp in the past:

"It is a three-story glass, aluminum, and steel scientific research center with the mission of studying environment, climate, human physiology, and geology in a remote mountain area – more formally known as The Pyramid International Laboratory/Observatory"

By the way, this shot of yours is simply stunning!
