The night in the RDR 2!

Hello there,

Today's title sounds like The Night in the Museum - the popular Hollywood movie where weird things happen in the night. Similar things I witnessed in today's gameplay - I saw the beauty, the scene, the skinners, and the spooky!

After the ghost sightings, I thought there must be no more such things left in the game, but I was wrong. The game and the night have just started! The blog is slightly long as I came to see something that I want to keep a surprise for the readers to the end of this blog.

A new contest is live, participate with your best night shots! Night Photography Contest!

A clear morning, a good start! The game started with a good spot.

The scene was awesome, a stream was flowing in the river.

As I had to start with the night theme, I set my camp and rested till night.

The night is here and I am set to start with the journey. I aim to get the night essence without going into a story.

The night was clear, I could see distant star clusters. Because of the moonlight, I had no trouble riding, as I had in swamps.

I marched my horse towards Valentine.

As I entered Valentine City, two Mexicans welcomed me for a melee fight - yes a fight with a knife. I antagonized them but they had their mind set on me.

They pushed me from the horse and one guy held me and the other was punching me harder. I tried to cut free, but no they are not as easy as other NPCs in the game. It was difficult to punch them.

After several bouts, I broke free and started running from them. They were not firing on me but I knew it was not going to be easy to take them together. I escaped.

I ran away deeper into the city to be safe from them. They were no longer following me. I slowed my pace and walked in.

I saw a man standing by a pole, he was exhausted due to the work, barely able to walk for long. Shows how hard it was to work then!

Those faded lines in the sky were not natural, it was bullets that were fired. O'Driscol gang chased me. I just had a bout with Mexicans now a gang was chasing me.

I was low on health hence I again escaped the area and hiked on the hills to hide from them.

This scene looks amazing. The entire area is under layers of moonlight. I could see Valentine City and distant mountains.

I raged my house for echoing effect in this deep silent night!

I came down the hill and followed my path to Emerald Ranch.

This beautiful lady stopped me for help. She was so beautiful that I almost had a crush on an in-game NPC.

Doesn't she look beautiful? As a gentleman, I hitched my horse and came down to help her. I was in a crushing mood!

All my love imagination and Valentine's week fever came down as she pointed her revolver at me. She was a looter.

Soon her friends came too. And they wanted me to surrender and pay them. The girl was so beautiful, that I didn't want to kill her! My heart melted!

And after a few seconds of my melting, she was on the ground! Poor lady, I will miss her. My guns get insane sometimes!

The lamps were amazing. She had two beautiful lamps too.

I marched towards the north.

I saw this weird structure deep in the forest. I saw one similar structure in the last blog where @gamingphoto pointed out that the structure could be related to dwarfs, hobbits, or similar creatures.

This was the front view. The house looks old and has a garden-like placement on the roof, similar to the hobbit's structure.

I moved ahead to the central-northern territory.

I saw a tower, it was as similar as the last blog, but it had no settlement or basement. Just a tower post. I hoped to catch the beautiful view.

I could see city lights from the distance. That might be Saint-Denis. I can say that this pic is my epic capture in the RDR 2 to date.

There was a glowing spot in the trees. I came down to check it.

The structure was weird. It had lights and had a heavy defence and was guarded with raised boundaries. I couldn't enter. It was locked.

I wonder for what purpose it was built.

Interestingly, it had an American flag. I will visit again to check the mystery behind this. I went a little ahead to set my camp and cook something for myself.

As I sat, this dude came. I was initially spooked to see him as he entered and started talking to me. He came from the forest, but he was not a skinner, as they generally attack. But he calmly talked to me for a few seconds.

His second partner came and held me at the gunpoint. I had no guns in my hand so I stayed down.

They did not loot me or ask anything but warned me to never enter that area again. They had no intention to loot me, this puzzled me.

They left me after a warning. They just told me to not wander near this area. I folded my camp immediately to leave this place.

After getting down the hill, just a few meters away, I saw the ending point of the rail network. I walked from it to see where the starting point of this railway line was.

As this was not a station, I was not expecting a train on it coming towards me. I paced up.

After a few seconds, I saw a train coming on the same line. It was very fast and noisy! I wondered why there was a train on this line and there was no station ahead, where this train was going.

I came closer and I could not believe it for a second.

Initially, I saw that the train had several wagons, but as I came closer the wagons were fading away, and only the engine was there. I could see the rail lined but only the engine was there running fast and honking. I played games this much but never had any such glitches.

I could not see the driver as well. Was that a ghost train? I started chasing it, but it was too fast!

Soon it disappeared into the trees. And I came down to this point.

I saw the settlement and a few workers were working on the rail line on which that train was supposed to go. How could it be possible for a train to run on an unfinished line? I was now confirmed that I saw a ghost train!

The other end of the line was the dead end and the alternate line was unfinished and the train was going nowhere but maybe a picture to realize a tragic accident that might have happened on that rail line.

It spooked me and I stood there thinking this reason. I came down to check the camp.

It was an unfinished line and the workers were doing their job in the night. The workers were not speaking English, they must be from Southeast Asia as per their facial features.

The dude offered me a sip from his cigarette, and I gently declined. I went to check the master of the camp.

He told me that someone from the camp was stealing the money and asked for my help. I accepted.

I checked every worker one by one and found the suspect, it was a foreman who was working as the guard to direct the workers.

I followed him and came to know about the money.

I collected the money and gave it to the master of the rail line and he gave me a $50 reward!

It was getting sunrise, finally the end of a weird spooky night! I went to check the area where the train disappeared.

Because of the hill, I was not able to chase the train and there was no railway line as well, just some tree barks. I breathed with goosebumps, that I just spotted a ghost train!

Though I love days in this game the most for the beautiful scenes, I see it is nighttime that gives you some epic moments with goosebumps. I'll need to give the game more time especially in night.

It is very strange about the ghost train, it is certainly disturbing to walk alone in the dark at night, good shots I loved, especially left me thinking a lot of the structures that look like houses of elves, I wonder if they still live there. Well, I see you are the first to participate, I wish you the best of luck and happy Valentine's Day XD....

Thank you. It is creepy to walk at night in game. At many points I got spooked because of the sound. I am not entering the contest, this blog was to showcase the beauty. I won the contest twice already, I want to allow others to win as well and show their game.
