The last train to hell and heaven - RDR 2!

JKB

Hello there,

Welcome back to the finale series of Arthur in RDR 2. In the last blog, Dutch explained his idea and why he wanted to loot a train. He also promised that this would be the last train loot and that after this, the gang would move away and live as commoners. However, Arthur knew that most of this plan was fabricated by Micah who is not so much trusted in the camp. Yet, Arthur chooses to remain loyal to the Dutch and will do whatever is best for the gang.

Arthus was diagnosed with tuberculosis and not much time is left for him. Hence, he wants to do good away with this life. Let's start this blog.

We reached the Saint-Denis railway station. The train is expected to stop at this station and so we are ready to jump on it.

We all dismounted horses and were lined up to hop on the train. Dutch explains the idea one last time.

Micah is the one responsible for train timings and the part where we will be jumping on the train.

Dutch positions each member of the gang at the sides of the track.

The train arrives at the station but looking at the speed train is is no chance of halting at this station. All gang members turn to Micah for this failure.

Dutch shouts to get on the train anyway as this is the last opportunity to make money and get done with this phase of life.

Arthur tells Dutch to abort this plan and not to take risks as this train may not be the one to loot. Risks are far more than rewards here.

Dutch shuts Arthur and orders him to get to the train and stop it.

Arthur has no choice in this and proceeds to mount his horse and speed behind the train.

The train is faster than expected as not many gang members can catch up with it. Arthur speeds up his horse near the train.

Finally, the opportunity comes when Arthur makes the jump on the train. John also jumped from the other side.

Arthur takes cover as the coaches are heavily guarded and it will be not easy to loot this train. We aim to reach the engine and stop this train.

Arthur gives backup support to John and fires shots. I use a double-barrel shotgun here as the enemy range is close and I want to clear them asap.

As the train leaves the city, a few commoners alert the sheriff. This becomes a 5-star wanted crime.

I keep on shooting guards to clear the coach's entry point.

Shotgun is extremely powerful. Every guard was turning into to pile of flesh.

The fight was getting brutal with each coach. Blood everywhere.

One shot is enough to eliminate a guard.

We move to the next coach. John is covering me from the front. Due to tuberculosis, Arthur is not in shape to move quickly.

One more guard down. Let's see what happens to Arthur and John from hereon in the next blog.

How great it must feel to be able to go through places like this where you see a train go by, especially because of the storyline of the game, it makes you get immersed with every detail.
