A hermit in the woods - RDR 2!
Hello there,
My expedition to the northernmost tip in the RDR 2 map will continue in this blog. RDR 2 is filled with many easter eggs and events that need to be checked to understand the story and the environment.
The pictures are taken during nighttime, please switch to gallery mode and increase your brightness to catch every detail of the image.

I found an enemy camp. It was located to the northwest, just the point where the snowy mountains start.
It was a big camp and not like the ordinary ones. It had boundaries as well and guards at every corner. I knew I needed a gang to attack them, yet I played alone. This is one of the "off-script moments" in the game.
I knifed a few of the guards at the corner one by one.
I jumped inside the camp but the guards were too alert. It was like a part of the game that was intended to come afterward in the story and I was playing before it, hence whenever I entered, it alerted them automatically and they always took me down.
And the guards that I killed were re-spawned again.
It was getting evening, I walked down ahead towards the mountains.
It was getting foggy as well. I saw this little structure.
It was a mini-size building, that looked like a hunting post to me. I went closer to check on it.
I continued my journey to the north-west, it was nighttime.
The forest area was not dense. I could easily traverse through it.
Moon shine coming through canopy was looking beautiful.
I came across this collapsed bridge. And yes I tried to jump across it.
Smooth landing in the river. Jump failed.
I crossed the river and came on this plain full of orchids.
Certain areas were darker due to the canopy no moonshine was there to guide me.
I found this camp, two guys were chilling.
Though the option to loot them was available, I preferred to leave them.
I continued my journey in the night. I was expecting a few side quests.
I found this beautiful mountain. I don't know what type of erosion did this, but that hole in the hill with a tree in the middle looks unique to the map.
I heard the noise from the trees behind me. I went to check it. Wolves were attacking a person.
I shot the wolves down and handed the wine to him.
Due to the fog only a coronal faded light was coming from the clouds.
After a while I found the light coming from the forest.
There was a house, but it was protected by wild dogs. They chased me.
I had to kill the wild dogs as they were attacking me and chasing me for long distances. After handling them I went to the house.
An old woman was standing in front of me. She did not speak anything.
As soon as I approached her, a reindeer came out of nowhere and hit me down.
This was the mark that I made in the soil when I fell. I had never seen such a clear figure in the soil before.
This was the old woman. She was a hermit living in the woods. I did not hurt her as she was unresponsive and not speaking to me. Don't know if it is a glitch or an event.
I went inside her wooden house to find the collectibles.
I found another part of the torn map. This completed the entire map. I haven't seen such markings or roads yet on the map.
Finally, my journey up to the northern forest was completed. But can I go more northern than this? Can I find a glacier or anything more interesting as a hermit in the snow mountains?
That we will see in the next blog! Good night!

Saving that man from the wolf was a great work.
Should we think that you'd take us a fantastic ride following that map next? @sagarkothari88 vote
