really liked the bit about weeding slowly so you dont shift the forming tubers. from a numbers view, a moved tuber resets the clock and eats into margin, so keeping simple recods and tracking you’re cost per kg harvested makes teh effort easy to see. the rain note is clutch too, even a small trench line can save rot and improve yeild, cheap fix big impact :). potatoes can be sneaky with pretty leaves while the books say otherwise, so your observant approach is spot on.
