My home, a safe haven for birds and my family.

Hive greetings,
Today, I bring you some green and beautiful images of my home, a safe haven for my family and lots of birds. I live in Teken Quarter in Mile 4 Nkwen - Bamenda, in the North West Region of Cameroon.
I love green and although the surface area of my land is really small, I found a way to make my real estate very green. I have about four trees, three long hedges, a small lawn, and flowers and a lot of people commend me for my sustainable land use.
Some of the reasons I planted the trees and flowers include;
- Beautify my home. My home is a reference point for a lot of people who want to plant flowers. It's also the perfect background for lots of young people who come to take pictures.
- Improve air quality as well as serve as wind and dust brake
- Attract insect life and fight Climate change
Honestly, I never thought of living with birds. It started last year and this year, I have over 9 bird nests in the trees around my home. It gladdens my heart to know that my home isn't only for us, but also for the birds. It's my wish that more birds come and I am looking forward to installing bird feeders so that these birds can stay here for as long as we will live here.
Below are images of some of the bird nests:
