Luznica lake with snow, fogg and sun

A hiking story to the Luznica lake from the early morning to the afternoon. Reaching the goal with amazing lunch as a reward.

6:00 AM the alarm was ringing, Tamara was still a bit sleepy but together, we always are able to manage somehow to start the day even on the weekends, this early with a smile.

A black coffee with a bit of hot water like they call it American coffee and some small meditation and yoga before the start of the hike.

We agreed like usual to take light luggage and this time was no exception. I think it was 7:00 AM when we started and after half an hour we where already on the way to the first break point.
Starting the journey before the sunrise is a special mode and I must say our favorite. Seeing the sun beams on the mountains has something very special. Life is beautiful and every moment can be full of good surprises.

As we changed our clothes at the break to more lighter garniture. Then we started the hike through the snow. Having such beautiful weather, we really enjoyed this time a lot.

Without much drinking breaks, we reached a big snowfield we had to cross. It was a big challenge as we are not so pro hikers yet and specific equipment is required to safely be able to hike in this kind of conditions.

Luckily another couple we meet later, started already at 3 AM for the sunrise on top of the mountain. So we just followed the footsteps until we finally reached the lake.

Here we realized that the weather started to change and that we would not see much on the way back. Still with positive thoughts towards the lunch we started cooking some easy noodles with tomato, onions, cabbage and tunfish. Sitting on the ground in the snow was very much possible due to a nice isolated mattres we carried up to here.

Observing the nature, the clouds and some animals from far away, took our minds away from the day to day 9:00 to 17:00 work and studies.

Here in the mountains we get a feeling of freedoms and blissfulness. Therefore, maybe one day we are able to follow our passion even more, and are down to even more hike trips around the world.
