Landscape and sunset photography, Croatian coast

Hi dear Hive community,

Our last two post were about our late summer vacations, a roadtrip through Croatian coast. Now we would like to some beautiful photographs we took of nature and sky.

Sea and the coast is very special when it comes to sunrises and sunsets. The play of the light and clouds can be sometimes out of this world. Maybe it's also about the reflection on the water surface, which gives additional effects.

On this upper picture we were playing and being creative with special filters for the lenses, which balance the light and gives more texture to the photos.

Here's another example of photography taken with filters. The reflection of the moon comes more to the expression and so do the light from the city. We really enjoyed exploring, learning and being creative.

The following two photos are representing the inland, just around 15 kilometer away from the coast. There are hills full of stone walls, which serves as a protection fence for the animals they had, mainly sheeps and goats. The area is very unpopulated, and we've seen many houses living here on the countryside still in old way. Electricity comes mainly through solar panels, which charge the big electric generators. Area is perfect also for vineyards.

While driving on the Adriatic road, we saw a lot of areas full of rocks. We parked on the side and take a walk to reach to the lonely, dry but still mighty tree.

One day we took a walk and stumbled upon a well maintained olive tree plantation. There were so many trees and the air was even smelling funny - to olives. Closeby was parked abandoned and pretty rusty old mini truck. We found this very artistic.
