Exploring Nepal πŸ‡³πŸ‡΅ Visiting the three most famous temples in Pokhara (#10)

Hi dear Hive community,

Asia is a rich and powerful in it's culture, lifestyle and religion. Nepal consists of mainly Hindus and Buddhist, therefore you cannot travel and explore without visiting many many temples located throughout the full country, in the cities and also in the remote areas.

We have already mentioned before, that renting a motorbike was top idea. The lady named Basudha from camping place recommended us three must visit temples in Pokhara city.

Crusing through the city with the motorbike, we first visited Akala Devi Temple, which lies more in the outskirts next to the river bank of Seti Gandaki river.

Finding the ways to different location was easy with the help of maps. So we headed to the next temple called Bhadrakali Temple. When we reached a group of tourist was resting on stairs and were happy to see us. In the festival season many people go around different temples. The path was quite challenging with many steps but we made it and were in the end rewarded with a nice view.

The last one was Shree Bindhyabasini Temple, which was very visited by people. There were many spiritual shops and all kind of other things. They charged us with 10 rupees for a parking of a motorbike. We liked this one the most. Probably also because it is the oldest one.

Ah, and don't forget to remove your shoes before going to the temples. It's a very strict rule here.

Hope you enjoyed our crusing through temples of Pokhara.

Renting a motorbike to tour around the city is the most convenient mode of transportation, as one can easily explore every spot. Thanks to Basudha for her recommendation. It's so nice to immerse ourselves in a place's religion, culture and history.

Agreed, even though it's sometimes quiet difficult to get proper motorbike and get good prices.
Of course, the locals are best guides πŸ‘Œ
You are totally right, it's the best way to grow and Live! 🌞
