Amazing how a few hours can change everything in the weather there at the Cape. Those clouds hide away those mountains like they never existed. Of course they're still there, but who in their right mind would want to go out in that weather for a hike? I remember sandstorms in the southwestern US that would do the same thing to the mountains. One minute crystal clear view and then nothing but red dust...I don't miss those!

Nice find of the pied crow flying overhead despite the poor weather. They are strong fliers, that's for sure!

Sorry to hear about the economic situation there, and I wish you the best of luck to house the homeless during the winter. It can't be easy to survive living in a card board box when it's freezing cold. Or feed a huge family when you can't find work. Non profits like yours can be a real Godsend to those poor people. Keep up the hard work, I know it's not easy to do as you get a little older.

How's that bad leg treating you? And the second wife sure is taking great pictures still. Have a tip as always!

Oh yeah, I have seen pictures of those sandstorms, and we also have them in the desert. We weather can change at a blink of an eye here and there is a post on X showing how the wind blew a driver off his delivery bike. There are also many videos on Youtube about the strong winds in the Cape.

Many don't like the crows, but they are some of the strongest flyers in bad weather.

Economies across the world are in dire straits, but one just has to bite the bullet and survive. We are partnering with another non-profit that is already active, so, the papers will be signed and Papillon will support their efforts as many hands make light work.

I have an appointment with a specialist doctor to try and sort the leg out, and also some other pains.
