That is one seriously big fish for a bird that size, that is really cool! What a great find, a moorhen catching a big old fish. It had a great meal it loos like. If she had some youngsters it probably fed the whole family. They sure are pretty birds, you have some great wildlife down there in South Africa!
What is the king of the fishers in the photo? I think you've shared it before, but I can't recall the name. I'm back trying to stick at it here on Hive. It's been tough when typing has hurt, but I think I finally got things under control. How's the leg treating you?

The bird is called a Pied Kingfisher, and you are right, as I have shared it a few times before.
I hope that your fingers will stand the strain and just don't overdo things.
My ankle is getting better every day, and soon I will hop around again :)
