Piers can be a lot of fun, like the Santa Monica Pier! Lots of fun to be had there!
Those are some great views you found there, I love the sound of the ocean and the smell as well. Never been to much of a boat guy though, it's an expensive hobby. I used to do a lot of fishing in the Caribbean and off of Miami, those were the good old days! You ever owned a boat?

I guess if I lived closer to the lake or ocean, it would make a lot of sense to own a boat. Otherwise, just rent canoes and the odd boat ride here and there.
