Grow Log: Week 10 - Getting Bushy!

What's up, Weed Lovers and Canna-Fam!? It's #WeedWednesday again, and you know what that means! It's time for another grow update!

Week 10 Overview

It rained pretty heavily this week, so I didn't need to water the outdoor plants at all until last night. I probably could have held off another day or so, but the Lemon Kush looked a little droopy up top, so I went ahead and gave them all a drink just to be safe.

Photoperiod

The Lemon Kush is still my best looking plant by far, and even though it has a mutation, I am really tempted to attempt to clone her because I have a feeling this will be the best plant I'll ever grow! I think this plant looks really healthy, and I'm super excited to see how big she will get by the end of the season!

The Northern Lights x Perfect Circle is still looking pretty decent, and honestly, I like the way this plant is bushing out. She is definitely a lot smaller than her counterpart, but the way it is naturally bushing out gives me a pretty good feeling about her!

Technically, these plants are in the topping window according to the Leafly outdoor grow calendar, but I think I'll wait a little bit longer just to make sure. But, I'm thinking I should do that before the summer solstice so they don't get too stressed out by the heat. This will be my first time topping an outdoor plant, and I don't want to mess them up!

Bonsai Buds

I'm pretty sure the Bonsai Buds are done for at this point, but I could be wrong. Honestly, it just doesn't seem like they are really doing much anymore. The Novakane Bonsai Bud still looks the best, but the Grape Gorilla Poison Bonsai Bud doesn't seem to be filling out at all.

I do water them fairly regularly, just to make sure they don't dry out, but other than that I haven't messed with them very much. You can kind of tell in the pictures that they are both getting really frosty with trichomes, so even if they are extremely tiny buds, I'm hoping they may still pack a punch!

Autoflower

It's now day 10 for the new Novakane and Grape Gorilla Poison Autoflowers, which are slowly starting to look like viable seedlings! Well, other than the fact that the Novakane looks like it's been getting eaten on.

I haven't had to do much to them yet since we've had a few good days of rain, and the soil has stayed decently moist in the fabric smart pots, so I didn't see the need to water them.

I also have them in a spot in my yard that gets full sun, with the only relief being in the morning when the sun is rising and the evening when the sun is setting. I'm hoping this full day of light exposure will allow them to stretch out and grow to their full potential, but only time will tell!

Looking Forward

Everything seems to be going fairly well for the most part, with my only major concern at the moment being whatever is eating the leaves off of the Novakane plant! It seems to look the same as the Northern Lights x Perfect Circle did a few weeks ago, so hopefully it will bounce back here soon!

Other than that, I think I'll be attempting to clone both of the photoperiod plants here soon and I’ll most likely be topping them in the coming weeks as well, so hopefully all of that goes well!

Anyways, that's going to do it for this one! Thanks for stopping by to check out my post, and I’ll see you on the next one! ✌🏼💚

That plant is ready to top. The earlier you do it the better the result.
