Seeing Ibadan Differently: My Weekend Adventure in New GRA.

It feels good when you move to a new place, and when you get there, you are able to see things in a more different way compared to what you have always been seeing before. So it happened that last week Saturday, which is about 2 days ago, I had the chance to travel to Ibadan, which is the capital of Oyo State. I traveled to the New GRA in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. Normally we know Ibadan to be a big city in the whole of the 36 states we have in Nigeria. But one of the things that interests me more is that Ibadan has lots of remarkable places and notable people.

Like I said earlier, I went to the New GRA (Government Residential Area) in Ibadan, but while I was going, I saw some places I liked, and it really drew my attention to taking some pictures of them to share. To start with, I went to check the Oyo pacesetters team, where we have different sculptures of things and some people. We have the molding of a bowl and vast molding of a princess, star, and so many other things that I could not wrap my head around.

I also saw the statue that shows a roundabout turning that leads to different destinations. The roundabout turning will lead you to places like Apata, Challenge, Dugbe, Aleshiloye, Item 7 restaurants, Iwo Road, and so many places. Also, I came across another modeling job that someone had done as well. It also carries a design showing Keep Oyo State Clean. This is also a way that the Oyo citizens get messages from the government, and they know the only duty they have is to keep everywhere clean. It was a very busy weekend, just like we all know that most weekends are just to have some fun and also rest. This was why I had to travel down to see a friend, and while going, it became so heavy that most motorists were just busy, and it was a bit hard to get a taxi to convey me to my next destination.

While I was going from the car park, I was waiting to get a cab, and I saw a white building that looked so beautiful and calm to see. The building is sunlight royal. I couldn't enter into the premises because I was not invited there, and before I could get access to check out the place, I would need a permit. But from looking at the building from a distance, it looks more like an event center that people use for different occasions. But from the look of things, I am very sure this place will be very expensive from the look and how spacious and luxurious the place is.

After a long walk and touring the new GRA and Ibadan city, I decided to head back home because I have no place to stay back there, and I have to go back to where I live. It was actually fun to go to a new place in the city of Ibadan and have some fun. I will share more updates about my travel to Ibadan next time once I have a chance to go there again.
